🏃‍♂️🇵🇭 Philippine Civil Service Anniversary Fun Run – Lingkod Bayani 2026 🇵🇭🏃‍♀️

The spirit of camaraderie, wellness, and public service came alive as the UMC Employees and UMCEA Officers, joined the PCSA Fun Run – Lingkod Bayani 2026.

The activity started as early as 4:00 AM at the Provincial Capitol Grounds, bringing together public servants in a meaningful celebration of dedication, unity, and commitment to serving the Filipino people.

Despite the early call time, everyone showed enthusiasm and energy as they ran, walked, laughed, and shared wonderful moments together. More than just a fun run, the activity reminded us that being a public servant is also about building friendships, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening the bond among colleagues. It was indeed a successful and memorable event! 🎉

Congratulations to everyone who participated and made this celebration meaningful. May we continue to carry the spirit of Lingkod Bayani—with Puso, Dangal, at Galing, always ready to serve our fellow Filipinos. 🇵🇭💙🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

🇵🇭 WVSUMC joins and celebrates the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary 🇵🇭

With the theme “Puso, Dangal, at Galing: Para sa Bayani,” WVSUMC celebrates the dedication, integrity, and excellence of every public servant who continues to serve the Filipino people with commitment and compassion.

As part of the celebration, the Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall became a meaningful activity where every employee expressed their personal commitment to uphold the values of service, integrity, excellence, and "malasakit" in the performance of their duties. The signing was proudly initiated by the UMC Executives, setting the example and inspiring the entire workforce to follow. This was then followed by the employees, who wholeheartedly added their own commitments and signatures to the wall.

The Commitment Wall serves as more than just a display of signatures — it represents our collective promise to be Lingkod Bayani, serving with "puso", working with "dangal", and performing with "galing".

May this celebration remind us that being a civil servant is more than a profession — it is a noble responsibility and a commitment to serve our fellow Filipinos with excellence and heart.

This year’s theme, “Prioritize Breastfeeding: Create Sustainable Support Systems,” reminds us that successful breastfeeding is not the responsibility of mothers alone—it requires the continuous support of families, communities, healthcare workers, and institutions.

The NSD reaffirms its commitment to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding and to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns. 💙

🤱 Together, let us create a breastfeeding-friendly environment where every mother is empowered, supported, and encouraged to breastfeed.

The WVSUMC Employees Association (WVSUMCEA) extends its heartfelt condolences to Sir Rafael D. Haro, Assistant Treasurer of UMCEA, and to the entire family on the passing of his beloved mother. 🥹

In this time of sorrow, the UMCEA Board of Directors visited the wake at St. Peter Chapel to personally convey our sympathy, prayers, and support to the bereaved family. We share in your grief and pray that God's comforting presence will grant you strength, peace, and hope in the midst of this loss. 🙏

May the cherished memories of your mother remain a source of comfort, and may her soul rest in the eternal embrace of our loving Lord. 🕊️
