The Alignment Meeting and Open Forum with the Senior Citizens' Association Presidents of ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ provided an opportunity to address concerns, share updates, and work together toward better services for our senior citizens. We had meaningful discussions about the ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐

ERPAT Program Update:

The Citywide ERPAT Federated Officers, headed by their President Kienth Anthony Siacon III, together with Ms. Juna M. Alidron, RSW, SWO III/Division Head - Family and Community Welfare Division, Ms. Niรฑa O. Ganzon, Focal Person - Expanded Centenarian Act Program, and Mr. Froilan O. Tano Jr., LPT, Focal Person of ERPAT, paid a courtesy visit to the City Mayor to discuss the upcoming ๐
๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ'๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง 2026 and initiatives that promote responsible fatherhood and family welfare.
During the meeting, Mayor shared the various programs and services currently available that directly benefit fathers and their families, including the provision of school supplies, livelihood programs, emergency employment opportunities, the KAbulig pangkabuhaYAn (KAYA) Program, Uswag Scholarship for their children, and access to the 10 partner hospitals under the ICG-Medical Assistance Program and the importance of strengthening support for our fathers and father figures.
The City Government expressed its openness to explore possible funding support and implementation assistance for upcoming ERPAT projects and initiatives.
Together, we continue to recognize the vital role of fathers in building stronger families and communities.

The Iloilo City Government, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office โ Family and Community Welfare Division (CSWDOโFCWD), successfully released the 1๊ฑแด Qแดแดสแดแดส แดแด๊ฑส ๊ฑแดส๊ฑษชแด
ส to a total of 205 ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ across four districts: 36 from Jaro 2, 40 from La Paz, 34 from Lapuz, and 95 from Molo.
This initiative is part of the Iloilo City Governmentโs continued commitment to support and uplift solo parents by providing financial assistance that helps ease daily challenges and strengthen their capacity to care for their families.

Barangay Orientation for the Solo Parent Program in line with the launching of ๐ฆ๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐ธ an Iloilo City Government intiative under the RISE-TO-ACTION Strategy Framework of Mayor Raisa S. Treลas and the implementation of RA 11861.
A Barangay Orientation was conducted with the participation of 18 barangays from La Paz District namely:

The orientation was held in Delfin Jaranilla Learning Center, Plaza La Paz,Iloilo City together with Ms. Melanie Fusin,, RSW Solo Parent District Coordinator and with Ms. Carol Diama, Ms. Shaira Mabaquiao and Ms. Gleza Lisao Solo Parent Support Staffs of CSWDO Lapaz and Lapuz District.
This orientation conducted by CSWDO-FAMILY AND COMMUNITY WELFARE DIVISION headed by Ms. Juna M. Alidron, RSW together with Ms. Ma. Elena Denise Gono focal person of solo parent program that aims to provide essential information to the barangay level, as they serve as the grassroots partners in delivering services under the Solo Parent Program. It will cover the benefits, qualifications, and application process for solo parents.

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Update
The Family and Community Welfare Division attended the Regional Convergence Committee (RCC) 2nd Quarter Meeting via Google Meet on May 14, 2026, with 39 participants.
This meeting was held to provide essential updates on the status of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), the Regional Independent Monitoring Committee (RIMC), and the overall Regional Convergence Plan.
With this, we can ensure that the 4Ps program is well-coordinated, transparent, and effectively supported by all partner agencies to help beneficiary families.
