SENIOR CITIZENS UPDATE:
𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠
𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 || June 3, 2026

The Alignment Meeting and Open Forum with the Senior Citizens' Association Presidents of 𝗝𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 provided an opportunity to address concerns, share updates, and work together toward better services for our senior citizens. We had meaningful discussions about the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗖𝗦𝗖, collaborative planning and a shared commitment to serve.

The CSWDO- Family and Community Welfare Division would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our District Heads, Focal Persons, District Coordinators and partner agencies for their invaluable support and active participation in the Consultative Meeting and Open Forum.

ERPAT Program Update:

𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐘 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐑

The Citywide ERPAT Federated Officers, headed by their President Kienth Anthony Siacon III, together with Ms. Juna M. Alidron, RSW, SWO III/Division Head - Family and Community Welfare Division, Ms. Niña O. Ganzon, Focal Person - Expanded Centenarian Act Program, and Mr. Froilan O. Tano Jr., LPT, Focal Person of ERPAT, paid a courtesy visit to the City Mayor to discuss the upcoming 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 2026 and initiatives that promote responsible fatherhood and family welfare.

During the meeting, Mayor shared the various programs and services currently available that directly benefit fathers and their families, including the provision of school supplies, livelihood programs, emergency employment opportunities, the KAbulig pangkabuhaYAn (KAYA) Program, Uswag Scholarship for their children, and access to the 10 partner hospitals under the ICG-Medical Assistance Program and the importance of strengthening support for our fathers and father figures.

The City Government expressed its openness to explore possible funding support and implementation assistance for upcoming ERPAT projects and initiatives.

Together, we continue to recognize the vital role of fathers in building stronger families and communities.

Your time, encouragement, and unwavering support served as a powerful reminder that the contributions, sacrifices, and love of every mother are valued and recognized. Your participation not only honored our mothers but also inspired them to continue being the pillars of strength in their families and communities.

In celebration of Mother’s Day 2026, the Family and Community Welfare Division (FCWD) brought together 451 𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 from various sectors including 𝙆𝘼𝙇𝙄𝙋𝙄 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙎𝙤𝙡𝙤 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, and 4𝙋𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 to celebrate “𝙉𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙮: 𝙆𝙪𝙨𝙤𝙜 𝙈𝙤, 𝘽𝙪𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙡𝙖𝙜 𝙆𝙤,” under the theme “𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝, 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨” on May 30, 2026.

We were deeply honored by the presence of 𝙃𝙊𝙉. 𝙍𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙖 𝙏𝙧𝙚ń𝙖𝙨and our supportive 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒔, who joined us in paying tribute to these inspiring women, who are truly the pillars of our homes and communities.

𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐎 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 | 𝐌𝐀𝐘 29, 2026

The Iloilo City Government, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office – Family and Community Welfare Division (CSWDO–FCWD), successfully released the 1ꜱᴛ Qᴜᴀʀᴛᴇʀ ᴄᴀꜱʜ ꜱᴜʙꜱɪᴅʏ to a total of 205 𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 across four districts: 36 from Jaro 2, 40 from La Paz, 34 from Lapuz, and 95 from Molo.

This initiative is part of the Iloilo City Government’s continued commitment to support and uplift solo parents by providing financial assistance that helps ease daily challenges and strengthen their capacity to care for their families.

𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 || May 20, 2026
>>LA PAZ AND LAPUZ 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧, Iloilo City

Barangay Orientation for the Solo Parent Program in line with the launching of 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗸 an Iloilo City Government intiative under the RISE-TO-ACTION Strategy Framework of Mayor Raisa S. Treńas and the implementation of RA 11861.

A Barangay Orientation was conducted with the participation of 18 barangays from La Paz District namely:

3) San Isidro
4) Ticud
5) Baldoza
6) Ingore
7) Lopez Jaena Sur
8) Tabuc Suba
9) Jereos
10) Magdalo
11) San Nicolas
12) Divinagracia
13) Burgos Mabini

15) Laguda
16) Railway
17) Hinactan
18) Lopez Jaena Norte

LAPUZ DISTRICT:

With 25 participants. The orientation was held in Delfin Jaranilla Learning Center, Plaza La Paz,Iloilo City together with Ms. Melanie Fusin,, RSW Solo Parent District Coordinator and with Ms. Carol Diama, Ms. Shaira Mabaquiao and Ms. Gleza Lisao Solo Parent Support Staffs of CSWDO Lapaz and Lapuz District.

This orientation conducted by CSWDO-FAMILY AND COMMUNITY WELFARE DIVISION headed by Ms. Juna M. Alidron, RSW together with Ms. Ma. Elena Denise Gono focal person of solo parent program that aims to provide essential information to the barangay level, as they serve as the grassroots partners in delivering services under the Solo Parent Program. It will cover the benefits, qualifications, and application process for solo parents.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Update

The Family and Community Welfare Division attended the Regional Convergence Committee (RCC) 2nd Quarter Meeting via Google Meet on May 14, 2026, with 39 participants.

This meeting was held to provide essential updates on the status of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), the Regional Independent Monitoring Committee (RIMC), and the overall Regional Convergence Plan.

With this, we can ensure that the 4Ps program is well-coordinated, transparent, and effectively supported by all partner agencies to help beneficiary families.
