On October 9, 2026, the Senior Citizens Cash Subsidy Payout was conducted for 1,900 beneficiaries from Jaro 1 and Jaro 2 Districts.

The activity was attended and supported by Ms. Juna M. Alidron, RSW, Division Head of the City Social Welfare and Development Office – Family and Community Welfare Division (CSWDO-FCWD); Ms. Rosa Mmae Aquit, RSW, OIC-District Head; Ms. Flora Mae Navarro, RSW, District Head; Ms. Glenda Abanero and Ms. April Rose Facto, Senior Citizens Coordinators; together with the Social Welfare (SF) Coordinators.

This initiative highlights the continued efforts of the Iloilo City Government to extend assistance and promote the welfare of our senior citizens, recognizing their invaluable contributions to their families and the community.

On October 8, 2026, the Senior Citizens Cash Subsidy Payout was conducted in City Proper District, benefiting 1,744 senior citizens.

The activity was supported by Ms. Juna M. Alidron, RSW, Division Head of the City Social Welfare and Development Office – Family and Community Welfare Division (CSWDO-FCWD); Ms. Sarah O. Panelo, RSW, District Head; Ms. Elnora Guarnes, Senior Citizens Coordinator; and the Social Welfare (SF) Coordinators.

This initiative reflects the Iloilo City Government’s continued commitment to providing assistance and support to our beloved senior citizens in recognition of their invaluable contributions to our community.

Ang ATIPAN ON THE MOVE, isa ka inisyatibo sang Iloilo City Government nga ginapangunahan ni 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐒. 𝐓𝐫𝐞ñ𝐚𝐬,, padayon nga nagadala sang nagkalain-lain nga serbisyo sang gobyerno palapit sa mga Ilonggo.

Sa ginpatigayon nga aktibidad sa Barangay Calumpang, Molo, isa sa mga serbisyo nga ginhatag amo ang SOLOKONEK: Single But Not Alone Program, sa idalom sang Solo Parent Program sang CSWDO–Family and Community Welfare Division (CSWDO-FCWD).

Paagi sa SOLOKONEK, ang aton mga solo parent may kahigayunan nga mag-inquire, magpamangkot parte sa ila mga benepisyo, magpa-assess, kag mag-aplay para sa Solo Parent Identification Card (S**C).

Sa sini nga aktibidad, 15 𝐤𝐚 𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐲𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧 kag 8 𝐬𝐚 𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝 (𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐂).

Nag-conduct kita sang meeting earlier today together with our District Coordinators to discuss the preparations for the upcoming cash gift distribution under the Expanded Centenarians Act (ECA) Program of the National Commission of Senior Citizens Region 6.

We made sure nga ma-coordinate ang tanan nga kinahanglan para sa smooth kag successful nga distribution para sa aton mga senior citizens.

SOLO PARENT PROGRAM UPDATE: September 22, 2026

The City Social Welfare and Development Office – Family and Community Welfare Division (CSWDO-FCWD), headed by Ms. Juna M. Alidron, RSW, Division Head, conducted a preparatory meeting in line with the upcoming Atipan on the Move on September 25, 2026, wherein SOLOKonek is one of the services to be offered during the activity.

The meeting was attended by nine (9) Solo Parent District Coordinators and support staff, who discussed preparations and coordination efforts to ensure the smooth delivery of services to solo parents and other Ilonggos.

Through this initiative, CSWDO-FCWD continues to strengthen its commitment to bringing accessible social welfare services closer to the community, in support of the Iloilo City Government’s RISE TO ACTION Strategy Framework.

𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘!

The CSWDO–Family and Community Welfare Division joined the 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 today, September 17, 2026, at Iloilo City Hall.

A total of 61 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 gathered including from the DSWD, DASMO, PSA, MORE Power, the Walang Gutom Program, and other key partner agencies to tackle vital program updates and strengthen inter-agency collaboration.

The meeting was successfully led by our Presiding Officer, 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐍𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐋𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚.
