Hello, beloved followers!
Long time no hear๐ kamusta kayo?
We opened our doors to the public to share our passion several years ago..
a simple family run-backyard vineyard who just enjoys plants, especially the amazing grapes!
We are not a business not even commercially driven.
We don't have the capital, neither do we have the support of any entity nor of the government.
If you understand the challenges of a farmer's life in our beloved country, then you understand how hard it is to bounce back after a severe setback.
Grapes, is a living being just like us and therefore experiences hardships and victories alike. She is a sensitive plant by nature but perseverant at the same time (parang pinoy, balat sibuyas pero palaban). At present, she is trying to cope up with everything that nature is handing her, from climate change to a pandemic.
Since, the beginning we refrain from providing anyone who wish to enjoy the same love that we have with grapes, with substandard seedlings. The seedlings, goes through a rigorous vetting process. Needless to say, those that were blessed to acquire our seedlings in the past, in good conscience, are guaranteed to have the best grape seedling.
However, in doing so incurred us heavy losses, as the expenses outweighs income. We will continue on these principle, God willing we can recover, as we place monetary reward secondary only to the joy we have in providing livelihood and food for others.
Our story is the story of an ordinary Filipino,
not only trying his best to make good of what little he has but also --tries to share it.
Hopefully, we can get through this.
God bless and keep safe everyone!
With much love,
Ronnie Picardal and Pomarin Family
Hello everyone! Sorry for the late reply;
Grapes by nature are sensitive crops, especially to climate change. We were severely hit by the effects brought by it (excessive heat and rain) and the pestilence as well. We are trying to rehabilitate our vineyard, it would take a long time as we are also suffering from the effects of the pandemic.
Hopefully, we can get through this.
Hoping for your kind understanding and consideration.
God bless and keep safe everyone!
