PNP ARRESTS NO. 3 WESTERN VISAYAS MOST WANTED IN ILOILO CITY OPS
The Philippine National Police reported the successful service of warrants of arrest against a 29-year-old police personnel assigned in Iloilo City during an operation conducted on the evening of June 3, 2026.
The operation was led by the Iloilo City Mobile Force Company with support from other police units, pursuant to warrants issued by a Regional Trial Court in Iloilo City involving separate criminal cases under Republic Act No. 11930, or the Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and Anti-Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials Act.
Authorities said the personnel voluntarily submitted to his unit commander prior to being placed under police custody, following standard procedures and due process.
Chief of the Philippine National Police, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., reiterated the organization’s firm stance on accountability, stressing that the PNP enforces the law fairly and consistently across all ranks.
“Ang PNP po ay naninindigan sa patas at mahigpit na pagpapatupad ng batas. When warrants are issued, we act accordingly while ensuring that due process and rights are respected. Walang sinasanto sa batas,” the Chief PNP said.
He added that the incident reflects the continuing internal discipline and cleansing efforts within the organization to strengthen integrity and professionalism in the police service.
The case is being handled under established legal procedures, with the concerned personnel remaining under custody pending further proceedings.
This action aligns with the PNP Focused Agenda under Enhanced Managing Police Operations, emphasizing swift and lawful operational response while upholding human rights and the rule of law. It likewise supports the governance direction of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. in strengthening peace and order and ensuring justice is served without fear or favor.
The PNP reaffirmed its commitment to transparent and accountable policing as it continues institutional reforms toward a Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.

ILOILO CITY – Dalawa sa mga most wanted persons ng Iloilo province na nahaharap sa kasong may kaugnayan sa ilegal na droga ang naaresto sa magkahiwalay na back-to-back manhunt operations na isinagawa sa Barangay Tabucan, Dumangas, Iloilo noong Hunyo 3, 2026, dalawang araw lamang matapos mailabas ang kanilang warrants of arrest.
Naaresto bandang 1:41 PM si alias “Nat,” 24 anyos, residente ng Barangay Rosario, Dumangas, Iloilo, at nakalista bilang Top 6 Most Wanted Person ng lalawigan.
Pinangunahan ang operasyon ng mga tauhan ng Dumangas Municipal Police Station (MPS), Iloilo Police Provincial Office–Provincial Intelligence Unit (IPPO-PIU), Iloilo Police Provincial Office–Special Operations Group (IPPO-SOG), at Provincial Highway Patrol Team ng Highway Patrol Group Regional Office 6 (PHPT-HPG 6).
Bandang 3:00 PM naman nang maaresto si alias “Nar,” 49 anyos, residente rin ng Barangay Rosario, Dumangas, Iloilo, at nakalista bilang Top 5 Most Wanted Person ng lalawigan, sa isinagawang follow-up operation ng Dumangas MPS, Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group–Special Operations Unit 6 (PDEG-SOU6), IPPO-PIU, IPPO-SOG, at PHPT-HPG 6.
Kapwa sila inaresto sa bisa ng warrants of arrest para sa paglabag sa Section 5 kaugnay ng Section 26 ng Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Ang mga warrant ay inilabas ng Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 68, Dumangas, Iloilo noong Hunyo 1, 2026, na walang inirekomendang piyansa.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Dumangas MPS ang mga naarestong indibidwal para sa kaukulang disposisyon.
Pinuri ni Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño, Acting Regional Director ng PRO6, ang mga operating unit sa kanilang maagap at maayos na koordinasyon sa operasyon.

ILOILO CITY – Two of Iloilo province’s most wanted persons facing drug-related charges were arrested in separate back-to-back manhunt operations conducted in Barangay Tabucan, Dumangas, Iloilo on June 3, 2026, just two days after their warrants of arrest were issued.
Arrested at around 1:41 PM was alias “Nat,” 24 years old, a resident of Barangay Rosario, Dumangas, Iloilo, and listed as the province’s Top 6 Most Wanted Person.
The operation was jointly conducted by personnel of the Dumangas Municipal Police Station (MPS), Iloilo Police Provincial Office–Provincial Intelligence Unit (IPPO-PIU), Iloilo Police Provincial Office–Special Operations Group (IPPO-SOG), and the Provincial Highway Patrol Team of Highway Patrol Group Regional Office 6 (PHPT-HPG 6).
At around 3:00 PM, alias “Nar,” 49 years old, also a resident of Barangay Rosario, Dumangas, Iloilo, and listed as the province’s Top 5 Most Wanted Person, was likewise arrested in a follow-up operation conducted by Dumangas MPS, Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group–Special Operations Unit 6 (PDEG-SOU6), IPPO-PIU, IPPO-SOG, and PHPT-HPG 6.
Both were arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest for violation of Section 5 in relation to Section 26 of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The warrants were issued by the Regional Trial Court, Sixth Judicial Region, Branch 68, Dumangas, Iloilo on June 1, 2026, with no bail recommended.
The arrested individuals are now under the custody of Dumangas MPS for proper disposition.
Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño, Acting Regional Director of PRO6, commended the operating units for their prompt and coordinated efforts.
