PRIME Helpline was honored to conduct a program orientation during the Municipal Youth Summit held on June 3โ5, 2026, at Igtalongon Elementary School, Municipality of Igbaras, Iloilo.
This meaningful gathering brought together young leaders and advocates to strengthen awareness on mental health, promote positive friendships, encourage responsible leadership, and inspire active participation in building resilient and supportive communities.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (OPSWDO) โ Iloilo Provincial Government for spearheading this initiative, with the full support of Hon. Mayor Vicente E. Escorpion, Jr. and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Igbaras. We also acknowledge the valuable contribution of the 61st Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army, as one of the summit facilitators.
As we continue to empower the youth, may we remember that strong friendships, compassionate leadership, and good mental health are essential in creating a brighter and more hopeful future for all.

We often look at the men in our livesโour fathers, brothers, and sonsโas unbreakable pillars of strength. They protect, they provide, and they hold our communities together. But even the strongest pillars need a foundation of care, maintenance, and support so they don't have to carry the weight alone.
The Provincial Government of Iloilo, through the PSWDO, is putting menโs well-being front and center. Through PRIME, we are headlining a movement to ensure our men are cared for, heard, and supported.
Alongside our ๐๐๐๐๐ (Empowerment and Reaffirmation of Paternal Abilities) programs, we are creating a network where local fathers can step forward, prioritize their mental health, and lead healthier lives for their families.
You hold up our communities. Let PRIME help hold up you.

Today, the PRIME Helpline Team participated in the first day of the RACE Against Su***de Training, an initiative aimed at strengthening knowledge, skills, and competencies in su***de prevention, intervention, and response.
This learning opportunity enhances our capacity to provide quality mental health and psychosocial support services through the use of evidence-based su***de prevention tools, particularly the The training equips participants with practical skills in identifying su***de risk, conducting assessments, and ensuring timely intervention and referral, especially within school settings, helping create safer and more supportive spaces for young people.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Unilab Foundation for the invitation and for allowing PRIME Helpline to be part of this meaningful and impactful training. We look forward to gaining more valuable insights as we continue with Day 2.

This yearโs theme, โPeer Magic: The Power of Connection, Care, and Lived Experience,โ reminded us that advocacy is more than awareness. It is compassion in action, the creation of safer spaces, and the offering of hope to those who once felt alone.
Held at St. Paulโs Hospital of Iloilo in partnership with Mother Candide Center of St. Paulโs Hospital of Iloilo, Inc., Asian Medical Studentsโ Association โ West Visayas State University (AMSA-WVSU), and UMC for U of West Visayas State University Medical Center.
The memorial was a heartfelt gathering of stories, remembrance, music, and reflection. It honored the lives lost to HIV while reminding us that no one should continue dying from HIV-related causes in a time when treatment, prevention, and community support can save lives.
For PRIME Helpline, being part of this memorial was more than participation. It was a reaffirmation of our mission to respond to HIV with dignity, empathy, and collective action. Together with partners, institutions, and communities, we carry forward the message that preventing HIV-related deaths requires not only healthcare services, but also compassion, solidarity, and the courage to stand beside those affected.
As we lit candles, we remembered with love, we connected with hope, and we strengthened the promise that no one should ever feel alone in this journey.

As part of its continuing commitment to promote mental health and psychosocial wellness, the Program for Resilience of Iloilo in Mind and Emotion (PRIME) facilitated a wellness and reflection activity entitled โPRIME Airlineโ for the Lay Mission Partners of Asilo de Molo, headed by Sister Myra Mondia, DC - Administrator.
The activity provided participants with a safe and meaningful space to reflect on their emotional well-being, personal experiences, and sources of strength amid lifeโs challenges. Discussions on the definition of mental health and the Mental Health Continuum were conducted to deepen participantsโ understanding that mental health is an essential aspect of daily living and that emotional experiences may vary from time to time.
The activity fostered open sharing, reflection, and psychosocial connection among participants, reinforcing the importance of emotional support, self-care, and compassionate spaces within communities and institutions serving vulnerable sectors.
