A Sunday filled with faith, reflection, and gratitude. The Iloilo District Jail–Female Dormitory conducted its Sunday Holy Mass, officiated by Rev. Fr. Ildefonso Cachuela Jr.

The celebration provided an opportunity for everyone to pause, pray, and renew their faith—reminding us that hope, compassion, and spiritual strength can guide us through every challenge.

Today, we pause for peace.

On this International Day of Peace, let us remember that peace begins with the choices we make—with the words we speak, the understanding we extend, and the hands we reach out to.

Because peace is not just a day we celebrate. It is a future we build together.

Let’s choose dialogue over division, understanding over conflict, and hope over fear.

Anong ibig sabihin ng kapayapaan para sa’yo?

Peace can look different for each of us. It can be a safe home, a listening ear, understanding, or simply choosing kindness.

Whatever peace looks like in your everyday life, share it. Your story, your words, or even a small act can inspire someone else—and together, these moments can grow into lasting change.

So, what does peace mean to you? Drop a comment below!

NATIONAL PEACE CONSCIOUSNESS MONTH 2026

“Investing in Peace Means Investing in People.”

Peace begins when we believe in the power of every individual to change, grow, and become a better version of themselves.

At the Iloilo District Jail–Female Dormitory, we continue to invest in people through rehabilitation, education, livelihood programs, values restoration, and meaningful partnerships.

Every skill learned, every value restored, and every opportunity given is a step toward a more peaceful and hopeful future.

Together, let us build a culture of peace—one person, one opportunity, and one transformed life at a time. 🕊️

Peace begins with us. Peace grows through us.
