The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Pototan Chapter proudly participated in the prestigious Pasundayag 2025, celebrating the 𝟓𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 of the Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines Iloilo Province with theme; “𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐨-𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐄𝐫𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏-𝐀𝐊𝐎,” last 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, in the picturesque 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧, 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨 .

As part of the celebration, PYAP Pototan, under the dynamic leadership of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰, 5 years in service and still current 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, had the honor of being selected as one of the finalists for the 𝐏𝐘𝐀𝐏 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐨. Mr. Kalaw represented the municipality with pride, presenting and defending their entry before an esteemed panel of judges. Their efforts paid off, as they earned a well-deserved 𝟐𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐏𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄 in the entire Province of Iloilo.

During the event, various barangay presidents from the municipality attended to show their solidarity and appreciation for the PYAP Pototan Chapter’s contributions.

A particularly special moment was grace by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐧 𝐋. 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐚, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 (𝐌𝐒𝐖𝐃𝐎), who has been a steadfast supporter of PYAP Pototan’s projects and initiatives. Along with 𝐌𝐬. 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐥, expressed their continued support for the youth’s development, recognizing their important role in shaping the future of the municipality.

The PYAP Pototan Chapter extends its sincerest gratitude to the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧, especially to their beloved 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫, 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐄𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐏. 𝐋𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐨, for his unwavering support and encouragement. His leadership has played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the PYAP Pototan Chapter’s programs and activities. The local government's dedication to supporting the youth’s growth and development has enabled the organization to achieve great strides in community building, empowerment, and social progress.

Moreover, the team extends they’re thanks to all the volunteers, mentors, and community leaders who have helped nurture the PYAP Pototan Chapter into what it is today. Their commitment to the cause of youth empowerment has inspired many young individuals to be the best version of themselves and contribute positively to their communities. This recognition is a collective achievement that reflects the hard work and passion of everyone involved in the organization.

Gear up and prepare your sporty and gamer personalities as the POTOTAN PYAP officially joins in PYAP ILOILO PROVINCE VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE 2024 in the Month of September!

In line with this, we are now looking for players who could proudly represent our Municipality as one team for the upcoming event.

If you are interested to join, please pass your name to your respective barangay PYAP President or Officer. The Try-outs will be on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟑𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐆𝐲𝐦.

𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄: Please bring your appropriate volleyball attire during the try out. Slippers, sando and other inappropriate attires are strictly not allowed.
