Following the receipt of an official directive and clarification from the higher authority of the Department of Education, the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Inopacan hereby informs the public that Executive Order No. 61, Series of 2026, previously issued by this Office, is hereby 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗗 effective immediately.

Accordingly, all provisions and directives contained in the said Executive Order shall no longer be implemented.

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 10743, or the National Teachers’ Day Act, October 5 is declared as National Teachers’ Day and is observed as a special working holiday. In keeping with the law and the subsequent clarification from the Department of Education, regular work and classes in all levels shall be conducted as usual on October 5, 2026.

The same was issued in good faith and with the intention of recognizing and honoring the invaluable contributions of our teachers and school personnel.

Congratulations to Jay Gabriel Cañada, a young talent from Guinsangaan, Inopacan, Leyte, for winning the Panalo ng Aktor Award for his performance in “The Sound of K” at Puregold CinePanalo 2026! 🎥👏

Written and directed by Jay himself, the film also earned nominations for Best Screenplay and Best Visual Effects.

In observance of World Teachers' Day and National Teachers' Month, classes in all levels of education and work in all public and private educational institutions in the Municipality of Inopacan, Leyte are suspended on Monday, October 5, 2026, per Executive Order No. 61, Series of 2026.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | LGU-Inopacan Employees Attended Mental Health Awareness and Stress Awareness lecture

Personnel of the Local Government Unit of Inopacan, Leyte attended the Mental Health Awareness and Stress Awareness lecture for Local Government Employees led by Pastor Ricardo B. De Asis Jr., MPH, Health Ministries/Public Affairs & Religious Liberty Director and Life & Mental Health Coach.

The lecture emphasized the importance of understanding mental health, recognizing stress, and developing healthy ways of coping with the challenges of both personal and professional life.

The activity encouraged employees to prioritize their mental well-being, build emotional resilience, and maintain a healthy balance while carrying out their responsibilities in public service.

Through initiatives such as this, LGU-Inopacan continues to promote a healthy and supportive workplace where employees are empowered to take care of their well-being and, in turn, serve the community with greater dedication, compassion, and professionalism.

The Municipality of Inopacan, Leyte informs the public that the compressed four-day workweek will be lifted effective September 28, 2026 (Monday).

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 57, Series of 2026, all municipal offices, departments, units, and instrumentalities shall resume the regular five-day workweek, from Monday to Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with a one-hour lunch break, subject to applicable Civil Service rules and regulations.

📌 Effective Date: September 28, 2026
🗓️ Work Schedule: Monday–Friday
🕗 Office Hours: 8:00 A.M.–5:00 P.M.

Offices providing essential, frontline, field, or continuous services may observe a different schedule as authorized or prescribed.

The Municipality likewise continues to uphold energy conservation and cost-cutting measures to promote the efficient use of government resources.
