I am deeply honored to receive a Plaque of Appreciation from the 102nd Infantry (IGSOON) Brigade, Philippine Army, during its 53rd Founding Anniversary held on October 28, 2026.

My sincerest gratitude to MGen Jose Vladimir R. Cagara, PA, Acting Commander of the Western Mindanao Command, AFP; BGen Samuel G. Yunque, PA, Brigade Commander of the 102nd Infantry (IGSOON) Brigade; Gov. Darel Dexter T. Uy of Zamboanga del Norte; and Gov. Dulce Ann K. Hofer of Zamboanga Sibugay for their dedication and support in promoting peace, security, and development in our region.

As Municipal Mayor of Tungawan, I remain committed to strengthening our partnership with the Philippine Army and our fellow local leaders in building safer, more peaceful, and progressive communities.

🇵🇭 𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐖 𝐍𝐈 𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐎𝐑 | 𝐀 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐅𝐔𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏

I am deeply honored and grateful to receive a Plaque of Appreciation from the 102nd Infantry (IGSOON) Brigade, Philippine Army, during its 53rd Founding Anniversary held on October 28, 2026.

This recognition acknowledges my unwavering support and steadfast commitment to the Brigade’s activities and initiatives that contribute to peace, security, and development throughout Zamboanga Sibugay Province.

With the theme, “Sustaining Peace, Strengthening Partnerships, Securing the Future in the Zamboanga Peninsula,” this celebration reminds us that lasting peace can be achieved through unity, mutual trust, and collaboration between our local government and our dedicated men and women in uniform.

The celebration was also a meaningful opportunity to meet the three Governors of the Zamboanga Peninsula: Hon. Dulce Ann K. Hofer of Zamboanga Sibugay, Hon. Darel Dexter T. Uy of Zamboanga del Norte, and Hon. Divina Grace C. Yu of Zamboanga del Sur. It was a valuable occasion to foster camaraderie and strengthen partnerships among local leaders in advancing peace, security, and development throughout our region.

As Municipal Mayor of Tungawan, I firmly believe that supporting our peace and security forces is an important part of building safer, stronger, and more progressive communities. Under my leadership, the Municipality of Tungawan will continue to strengthen its partnership with the Philippine Army and other stakeholders in advancing peace, stability, and inclusive development for our constituents.

My sincerest gratitude to the leadership of the 102nd Infantry (IGSOON) Brigade, particularly MGen Jose Vladimir R. Cagara, PA, Acting Commander, Western Mindanao Command, AFP, and BGen Samuel G. I am grateful to have been part of the Stakeholders Summit 2026 of DepEd Zamboanga Sibugay and to receive this recognition. This award inspires me to continue strengthening our support for education and creating better opportunities for our learners in Tungawan.

My sincere appreciation and thanks to DepEd Zamboanga Sibugay, our dedicated educators, and all education stakeholders for their commitment to building a brighter future for our children.

Together, let us continue working hand in hand for quality education and a stronger future for Tungawan and the next generation. 💙🎓

📢 DUGANG OPORTUNIDAD SA SKILLS TRAINING PARA SA MGA TUNGAWEÑO!

Kini mao ang daling resulta sa mga lakang sa atong lokal nga panggamhanan aron mapalapdan ang oportunidad sa panginabuhian sa mga taga-Tungawan sa akong pag-apil sa 8th National Quality TVET Forum sa TESDA sa Manila atong October 14-15, 2026.

Pinaagi niini, adunay unom (6) ka mga program nga gitanyag nga mahimong oportunidad alang sa atong 300 kabuok nga katawhan sa Tungawan nga gustong makapalambo sa ilang kahibalo ug kahanas nga mag hatag ug libreng training ug libreng assessment aron mahimo silang NC II holder.

The six (6) courses offered are:

📌 Agricultural Crops Production NC II
📌 Rubber Production NC II
📌 Driving NC II
📌 Barangay Health Services NC II
📌 Dress Making NC II
📌 Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II

Kini nga mga oportunidad makatabang sa atong mga kaigsuonan nga makabaton og dugang kahanas nga magamit sa pagpangita og trabaho o pagsugod sa kaugalingong panginabuhian.

Education is a shared responsibility that requires unity, collaboration, and the collective commitment of every stakeholder to ensure a brighter future for our learners. 🎓✨

I recognize the importance of the Stakeholders Summit 2026 of the Department of Education (DepEd) Zamboanga Sibugay, which serves as a meaningful avenue for strengthening partnerships among education leaders, local government units, partner agencies, and other stakeholders in advancing quality, inclusive, and accessible education for all.

Yesterday, we continued bringing the benefits of the Benteng Bigas Meron Na! (BBM) Program closer to our fellow Tungaweños through its implementation in Barangay San Pedro, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay Province. 🇵🇭🌾

Through this initiative, our constituents were given the opportunity to purchase rice at only ₱20 per kilo, providing meaningful assistance to families and helping ease the burden of daily living expenses.

As your Municipal Mayor, I remain committed to supporting programs that prioritize the welfare of our people, especially our hardworking families who continue to face the challenges of rising commodity prices. This initiative reflects our continued dedication to making essential food more accessible and affordable to every Tungaweño.

Karong adlawa, October 21, 2026, gipahigayon ang Benteng Bigas Meron Na! nga programa sa Barangay San Pedro, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay, diin ang atong mga residente adunay higayon nga makapalit og bugas sa mas barato nga presyo nga ₱20 kada kilo.

Dugang sa paghatag og serbisyo, nahimong mas lingaw ug malipayon ang atong panagkuyog sa mga residente pinaagi sa pagkanta nako alang kanila ug pagdapit sa pipila kanila nga mokanta usab. Dako ang akong kalipay nga makita ang ilang mga pahiyom ug ang kalipay nga atong gipaambit sa usag usa. ❤️🎤

Isip inyong Municipal Mayor, dako ang akong kalipay nga dili lamang serbisyo ug tabang ang atong mahatag, kondili panahon usab sa panag-uban, katawa, ug malipayong panumduman uban sa atong mga kababayan.

Earlier today, I had the honor and privilege of solemnizing the civil wedding of Mr. Mark Ace I. Pilotos and Ms. Stephanie A. Pacatang here in my office.

As they begin this beautiful new chapter of their lives as husband and wife, I extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt wishes to the newlyweds. May their marriage be filled with unconditional love, mutual understanding, patience, and unwavering faith in one another. May they continue to stand side by side through every challenge and celebrate every blessing that life brings their way.

As Municipal Mayor of Tungawan, it is always a privilege to be part of these meaningful milestones in the lives of our constituents. May your union serve as a foundation for a happy, peaceful, and prosperous family.

Malampusong naabot sa mga residente sa Barangay San Isidro, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay ang programa nga Benteng Bigas Meron Na!, nga naghatag og oportunidad sa atong mga kababayan nga makapalit og bugas sa mas barato nga presyo nga ₱20 kada kilo.

Pinaagi niini nga programa, atong matabangan ang matag pamilya sa pagpagaan sa ilang adlaw-adlaw nga gastusin ug pagtagana sa ilang panginahanglan. Padayon usab ang atong pagpaluyo sa mga programa sa National Government ubos sa administrasyon ni President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
