Personnel of the Makilas Fire Sub-Station, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨 𝐂. 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚, Acting Fire Sub-Station Commander, promptly responded to a reported vehicular accident in Barangay Buluan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, to provide immediate emergency medical assistance.

Upon arrival, the responding team found the patient seated along the roadside. Initial assessment revealed a puncture wound on the left foot and abrasions on the chin and left hand. First aid was immediately administered, including wound cleansing and the application of povidone-iodine (Betadine) antiseptic solution.
Following the initial medical intervention, the patient was transported via BFP ambulance to Dr. George T. Hofer Medical Center, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, for further medical evaluation and treatment.

Personnel of the Makilas Fire Sub-Station, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨 𝐂. 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚, Acting Fire Sub-Station Commander, responded to a reported vehicular accident at Buluan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Upon arrival at the scene, the patient was found seated along the roadside. An initial assessment revealed a laceration on the left forehead and abrasions on the right knee. First aid was provided. The wounds were cleansed using povidone-iodine (Betadine) antiseptic solution, followed by the application of sterile dressings, with assistance from LDRRMO RT Lim personnel.

After the provision of initial medical assistance, the patient was properly endorsed to LDRRMO RT Lim personnel for transport to the hospital. The transport arrangement was coordinated with LDRRMO RT Lim personnel, who subsequently assumed responsibility for the patient's transport and further medical care.

On 01 October 2026 at 1200H, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨 𝐂 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚, Acting Fire SubStation Commander, personnel of Makilas Fire Sub-Station conducted an inspection and monitoring activity at PETROSTAR Gasoline Station, Barangay Tiayon, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

As part of the mitigation measures to safeguard the national energy supply amid the ongoing Middle East crisis, the activity included fuel facility inspection and monitoring, and firetruck visibility in the area. The visible presence of the firetruck reinforced emergency preparedness and demonstrated the readiness of the Bureau of Fire Protection to respond promptly to any fire or emergency incident.

The activity also focused on monitoring the facility to help prevent hoarding, excessive stockpiling, and other unlawful practices, while promoting fire safety awareness and preparedness among fuel facility personnel.

Personnel of the Makilas Fire Sub-Station, under the leadership of 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨 𝐂. 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐚, Acting Fire Sub-Station Commander, responded to a reported vehicular accident involving four (4) patients.

Upon arrival at the scene, the EMS team immediately assessed the patients and provided appropriate first aid, including bleeding control, wound cleansing, and application of sterile dressings and bandages. The patients were subsequently transported via BFP Ambulance to Dr. George T. Hofer Medical Center, Brgy. Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, for further medical evaluation and management.

Upon arrival at the medical facility, all patients were safely transferred and properly endorsed to the medical staff on duty, together with their respective Patient Care Reports (PCRs) and pertinent assessment findings.

The prompt response and immediate provision of emergency medical assistance underscore the commitment of the Bureau of Fire Protection to providing timely and reliable emergency services to the community.
