DON LAZARO MADARA MEMORIAL SCHOOL Don Lazaro Madara Memorial School started with a Kindergarten in 1976 with Mrs. Ester Mendez and Mrs. Amelia O. Norma I.

Adelaida Ampongan as the teachers with an enrolment of 62 pupils. The classroom was made of nipa, bamboo and coconut leaves. After two years enrolment increased, temporary classroom was constructed under the leadership of Arch. Melchor Nacario, President of the Iriga City Jaycees and other officers and members.
