DON LAZARO MADARA MEMORIAL SCHOOL Don Lazaro Madara Memorial School started with a Kindergarten in 1976 with Mrs. Ester Mendez and Mrs. Amelia O. Norma I.
Adelaida Ampongan as the teachers with an enrolment of 62 pupils. The classroom was made of nipa, bamboo and coconut leaves. After two years enrolment increased, temporary classroom was constructed under the leadership of Arch. Melchor Nacario, President of the Iriga City Jaycees and other officers and members. REPORT CARD CY 2012
Don Lazaro Madara Memorial School teaching staff, parents, pupils and School Governing Council would like to extend a thousand fold thanks to the stakeholders for their untiring and endless support extended to the school and solve the needs of the children, improve the learning environment and performance level, to wit:
1. Arch. Mario G. Aguja and family of San Juan, Iriga City donated school supplies.
2. Iriga Technical and Vocational Training Center of San Nicolas, Iriga City donated school supplies and conducted supplementary feeding.
3. Kids for Christ of St. Anthony de Padua, Iriga City c/o Sir Dennis Caayao, donated clothings and conducted supplementary feeding.
4. Global IT, Iriga City students under Mrs. Bigayan, donated school supplies and conducted supplementary Feeding.
5. Kiwanis Club of Iriga City, thru President Mr. Pana, conducted supplementary feeding.
6. Mr. & Mrs. Turiano of San Juan, Iriga City donated slippers to the children.
7. Julian Ocampo Memorial Lodge branch 146 donated school bag, towels and conducted supplementary feeding for three months.
8. Bicol University College of Education students thru the professor Dr. Marcia P. Rico, donated school supplies and conducted supplementary feeding.
9. Madara's family thru Carmelita Madara of San Roque, Iriga City, donated Encyclopedia, reference books and materials and rice for supplementary feeding.
10. Mr. & Mrs. Ambrosio B. Tagum and family, conducted supplementary feeding.
11. Irigenous Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) of USA, will donate T-shirts as PE uniform for the school children.
12. United Rinconadians Association of Barcelona, Spain will donate one hundred thousand pesos (Php.100.000.00) for the construction of the new stage.
13. Korean Church Missionaries c/o Miss Shim donated school supplies and conducted supplementary feeding.
