The Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro, Iriga City, represented by SK Chairperson Hon. Mik-Mik Laniog and SK Secretary Engr. Amapola Bianca Marie Iglesia, proudly attended the Kick-Off Program of Brigada Eskwela 2026 of San Agustin (Stand Alone) Senior High School today, June 2, 2026.

During the program, the SK San Isidro formally awarded Certificates of Commendation to the SASHS Rover Circle 09: Gilas-Lakas ‘27 in recognition of their invaluable services and donations rendered to the community of Barangay San Isidro through the initiative of the SK San Isidro, “Future Forward.”

This recognition reflects the power of partnership, volunteerism, and the commitment of the youth in creating meaningful impact within the community. The SK San Isidro believes that when young people work together with purpose and compassion, genuine progress becomes possible.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro extends its sincerest gratitude to San Agustin (Stand Alone) Senior High School headed by Sir Celito Sayson, School Principal, and to Sir Kevin Delos Santos, Adviser of SASHS Rover Circle 09, for their unwavering support and dedication to youth empowerment and community service.✨

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro, Iriga City proudly participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program of San Isidro Elementary School held on June 2, 2026.

Representing the SK San Isidro were SK Chairperson Hon. Mik-Mik Laniog and SK Secretary Engr. Amapola Bianca Marie Iglesia, showing the continued commitment of the youth sector in supporting initiatives that promote quality education, volunteerism, and community collaboration.

Brigada Eskwela is more than just preparing schools for the opening of classes — it is a reminder that education becomes stronger when the community works together. Through active participation and partnership with our educational institutions, the SK San Isidro remains dedicated in creating safe, prepared, and learner-friendly spaces for every student.

Nais ipabatid ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro, Iriga City sa publiko na ang ang konseho ay hindi opisyal na naabisuhan, nakonsulta, nakoordina, o nakilahok sa pagpaplano, pag-oorganisa, at pagpapatupad ng aktibidad na pinamagatang “Haribas: The Labradorians Basketball Cup 2026” na iniulat na inorganisa ng San Isidro Youth Organization. Kabilang dito ang isinagawang screening ng mga kalahok at iba pang kaugnay na gawain, na bahagi na ng pormal na proseso ng pagsisimula at pagsasagawa ng nasabing aktibidad.

Bagama't kinikilala at sinusuportahan ng Sangguniang Kabataan ang mga aktibidad na nagtataguyod ng sportsmanship, pagkakaisa, at pag-unlad ng kabataan, mahalagang linawin na ang nasabing aktibidad ay hindi inendorso, inaprubahan, pinahintulutan, o isinagawa sa pakikipagtulungan ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro.

Maaaring hindi pinondohan ng Barangay San Isidro o ng Sangguniang Kabataan ang nasabing aktibidad, gayunpaman, alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 10742 o ang Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, kinikilala ang Sangguniang Kabataan bilang opisyal na kinatawan ng kabataan sa barangay at may mandatong magsulong at makilahok sa mga programa, proyekto, at aktibidad na may kaugnayan sa kapakanan at pag-unlad ng mga kabataan. Dahil dito, mahalaga ang wastong koordinasyon at pakikipag-ugnayan sa Sangguniang Kabataan sa mga gawaing nakatuon sa sektor ng kabataan upang matiyak ang maayos na daloy ng impormasyon, pagkakaisa, at paggalang sa mga umiiral na proseso sa komunidad.

Naniniwala ang Sangguniang Kabataan na mas nagiging maayos, epektibo, at kapaki-pakinabang ang mga programa para sa kabataan kung ito ay isinasagawa sa pamamagitan ng bukas na komunikasyon, tamang koordinasyon, at pagtutulungan ng lahat ng mga kinauukulan. Ang paggalang sa mga itinakdang proseso ay hindi lamang usapin ng pormalidad kundi isang mahalagang hakbang upang mapanatili ang pagkakaisa at maiwasan ang hindi pagkakaunawaan sa loob ng komunidad.

Ang pahayag na ito ay inilalabas upang linawin ang opisyal na posisyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro kaugnay ng nasabing aktibidad at upang maiwasan ang anumang maling pag-aakala na ito ay may opisyal na pag-apruba, partisipasyon, o pakikipagtulungan mula sa konseho ng Sangguniang Kabataan.

Patuloy na bukas ang Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro sa pakikipagtulungan sa iba't ibang organisasyon, samahan, at mga indibidwal na may layuning isulong ang kapakanan at pag-unlad ng kabataan, sa paraang sumusunod sa wastong proseso, koordinasyon, at paggalang sa mga umiiral na batas at alituntunin.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro, Iriga City proudly celebrates the successful implementation of the initiatives of the San Agustin (Stand Alone) Senior High School Rover Circle 09 - Gilas Lakas ‘27 under the Future Forward: Awarding of Project Fund to Youth-Led and Youth-Serving Organizations.

Through their projects—Community Services: Tree Planting (Fruit-Bearing Trees) and Volunteerism at the Irrigation Area (Boulevard), as well as Environmental and Climate Action: “Tetra Pack Mo, May Basurahan Kayo Project”—the SASHS Rover Circle demonstrated that meaningful change begins when young people step forward and take action. These initiatives not only contribute to environmental protection and community improvement but also inspire a culture of responsibility, service, and sustainability among fellow youth and residents.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro, Iriga City headed by SK Chairperson Hon. John Michael M. Laniog attended the implementation of the San Agustin (Stand Alone) Senior High School Rovers Scout project entitled “Project Youth-nity in a Community: Behold the Future of Be-youth-y" held on May 26, 2026 at the San Isidro Elementary School Covered Court.

The project featured various meaningful activities including literacy and numeracy readiness through storytelling sessions and distribution of school supplies, a feeding program, and capacity building activities aimed at empowering and developing the youth and community participants. The beneficiaries of the said project were elementary pupils from San Isidro.

The activity highlighted the importance of unity, volunteerism, leadership, and active youth participation through programs focused on education, community service, and community development. The initiative reflects the dedication of the San Agustin (Stand Alone) Senior High School Rovers Scout in creating impactful programs that inspire positive change and encourage the youth to become active partners in building a better community.

As additional support to youth-led initiatives, the project is one of the beneficiaries under “Future Forward: Project Fund to Youth-Led and Youth-Serving Organizations,” where selected organizations received project funding from the Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro, Iriga City.

SK San Isidro continues to support programs and initiatives that empower, inspire, and strengthen the youth towards a brighter and more progressive future.

As the celebration of the Barangay Fiesta of San Isidro comes to a close, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng San Isidro, Iriga City proudly looks back on a meaningful and productive journey from March to May—a season filled with programs, activities, and initiatives that brought our youth together and transformed ideas into tangible results.

This year’s fiesta celebration became more than just a tradition. It became a platform for active youth participation, leadership development, talent recognition, sportsmanship, community engagement, and inclusive governance. Through a series of successful projects and activities, hundreds of young people were given opportunities to showcase their talents, strengthen their skills, share their voices, and contribute to the growth of our barangay.

From sports tournaments, talent competitions, youth recognition programs, community development initiatives, organizational support grants, beautification projects, and other innovative activities, the SK continuously worked to create programs that go beyond the usual fiesta celebrations. These projects were designed not only to entertain but also to empower, inspire, and create lasting impact within the community.

What makes this year's accomplishment even more remarkable is the collective participation of our youth, organizations, volunteers, stakeholders, and residents who embraced every opportunity to be part of something bigger. The success of these initiatives reflects a community where young people are not merely participants but partners in building a more vibrant, inclusive, and progressive San Isidro.

As we celebrate these milestones, we are reminded that true success is measured not only by the number of activities conducted but by the lives touched, the talents discovered, the leaders developed, and the stronger sense of community that was built along the way.

Displaying exceptional teamwork, defensive intensity, and composure under pressure, Zone 6 outplayed their opponents and secured the title in front of an energetic crowd of supporters and basketball enthusiasts. From the opening whistle to the final buzzer, the team showcased determination and grit worthy of a championship performance.
