🌊 IWD Joins Coastal Clean-Up Activity in Celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary 🌿

In commemoration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Isabel Water District (IWD) actively participated in a Coastal Clean-Up Activity facilitated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Isabel, Leyte, held at the Sto. Niño Coastal Area.

The activity brought together government employees and community partners in a shared effort to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and responsible stewardship of our coastal resources. IWD personnel took part in the clean-up drive, helping remove accumulated waste and debris along the shoreline while encouraging everyone to take an active role in protecting our environment.

As a public service institution, IWD recognizes that serving the community extends beyond providing essential water services. It also means being an active and responsible partner in initiatives that contribute to a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.

Through this activity, IWD reaffirms its commitment to public service, environmental responsibility, and community engagement. Small acts of service, when carried out collectively, can create a meaningful and lasting impact on our surroundings and the communities we serve.

WATER SUPPLY ADVISORY

Please be advised that there will be a temporary water service interruption on September 17, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Affected Area: Brgy. Libertad and Alipasa, Mahayag
Reason: Installation of a 1-inch gate valve along the 2-inch mainline.

Water supply may be temporarily unavailable in the affected area during the installation.

WATER SERVICE ADVISORY

TALUAN PUMPING STATION 2 NOW OPERATIONAL

Alang sa mga konsumedor sa Brgy. Anislag ug NHA Anislag, among gipahibalo nga naka operate na balik atong Pumping Station, apan tungod kay dili pa kompleto ang pagka-ayo, limitado usa ang oras sa ato agas nga magsugod alas 5:00 sa buntag hangtod alas 8:00 sa gabie matag adlaw. Ang atong communal faucets sa Taluan Pumping Station 1 ug Mahayag Pumping Station sa Sitio Binonga nagpabilin nga pwede pang maka salod ug tubig.

Tungod niini, makasinati pa gihapon ug paghinay hangtod sa pagka wala sa agas labi na sa habog (elevated) nga lugar sa Poblacion ug Relocation. Sanglit gi awhag gihapon namo ang pagpundo ug tubig.

Padayon kaming nag hangyo sa inyong pagsabot. Daghang Salamat.

🚨 EMERGENCY WATER SUPPLY ADVISORY — UPDATE

Please be advised that the water supply interruption remains ongoing due to the emergency shutdown of Taluan Pumping Station (P.S.) No. 2 following the damage caused by the burnt control transformer in the control panel.

Our team is still addressing the problem and working to restore the water supply as soon as possible.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding. We will provide another update once the water supply has been restored.

‼️EMERGENCY WATER SUPPLY ADVISORY ‼️

Please be advised that there is currently no water flow at NHA, ANISLAG and PROPER BRGY. ANISLAG due to the shutdown of Taluan Pumping Station No. 2. The control transformer in the control panel was damaged, causing the temporary shutdown of the facility. Our team is working to address the issue and restore the water supply as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
