The Municipal Cooperatives Office (MCO) continues to strengthen its collaboration with educational institutions in preparation for the upcoming Koop Kabuhayan 1: Training on Mango Processing for Quezonian cooperatives. On June 3, 2026, MCO personnel Rhoda Mangili and Christian Benedict Dioquino personally delivered communication and request letters to identified partner secondary schools in the municipality to secure support for the conduct of the training.
One of the schools visited was Barucboc National High School, headed by newly installed Principal Juneward Reccion. During the visit, the MCO formally requested the use of the school's Home Economics Laboratory as the venue for the training scheduled on June 20, 2026. The office likewise sought the assistance of Dr. Graze S. Natividad, a teacher of the school, to serve as one of the resource trainers who will share her expertise in mango processing with participating cooperative members.
The team also proceeded to Quezon National High School, where they were warmly welcomed by Principal IV Joel R. Antipolo. Demonstrating his support for cooperative development initiatives, Principal Antipolo willingly and joyfully endorsed the MCO's request for Ma'am Norma Luisa V. Cariazo to serve as one of the trainers for the activity. Through these partnerships, the Municipal Cooperatives Office aims to provide practical skills and value-adding opportunities to cooperative members, helping strengthen local enterprises and promote sustainable livelihood development in the municipality.
