The City Human Resource Management Office joins the LGBTQIA+ community in celebrating Pride Month 2026, a meaningful celebration of ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฏ๐, ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ฆ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ.
Pride Month is celebrated every June to honor the history, struggles, achievements, and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community around the world. It serves as a reminder of the continuing call for equal rights, acceptance, respect, and the freedom for every individual to live authentically without fear of discrimination or prejudice.
This annual celebration also highlights the importance of creating safe and inclusive spaces where everyone feels respected, empowered, and valued regardless of gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.

This yearโs observance carries the theme โFreedom, Future, Historyโ (Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan), underscoring the enduring connection between our struggle for independence, our aspirations for a better future, and our continued appreciation of the nationโs rich historical legacy.
The observance begins on May 28 in commemoration of the Battle of Alapan in 1898, when General Emilio Aguinaldo first unfurled the Philippine flag following the victory of Filipino revolutionary forces against Spanish troops in Imus, Cavite. This historic moment became a powerful symbol of hope, unity, and the Filipino peopleโs enduring pursuit of freedom.
As we commemorate National Flag Days, the City Government encourages every Isabeleรฑo to continue honoring and proudly displaying the Philippine flag, a symbol of courage, unity, and love of country that reminds us of the sacrifices of our forebears and our shared responsibility to safeguard the nationโs future.

Mayor Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman, together with the city government officials and employees, extends warm greetings to all constituents and Muslim brothers and sisters as they celebrate this meaningful occasion on May 27, 2026.
Eidโl Adha reminds every one of the importance of unity, generosity, and service to others. The City Government hopes that this celebration will inspire peace, harmony, and stronger solidarity among all communities in Isabela City.

The City Human Resource Management Office (CHRMO), in coordination with the City Population Management and Development Office, conducted the Mother-Baby Friendly Workplace Orientation on 18 May, Monday at the SP Session Hall, Isabela City Hall.
Representatives from different City Government Offices and OCM Divisions attended the activity to learn more about workplace practices and programs that support breastfeeding mothers and promote maternal and child health in the workplace.
The orientation discussed the importance of having a safe, healthy, and supportive work environment for employees, especially working mothers. It also highlighted different ways offices can help build a more inclusive and employee-friendly workplace, in line with the City Governmentโs continuing commitment to employee welfare and family-supportive programs.

๐๐ก ๐ ๐๐ ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐๐ | The City Government of Isabela mourns the passing of Jhayson Abdullah, Administrative Aide I assigned at the Sangguniang Panlungsod, who faithfully served the City Government of Isabela for 19 years since 2007.
Throughout nearly two decades of public service, Mr. Abdullah dedicated himself to his duties with commitment, contributing to the day-to-day work of local governance in service of the people of Isabela City. His years in government reflect the invaluable role played by public servants whose efforts, often behind the scenes, help sustain the operations of public office.
As a colleague and member of the City Government family, he will be remembered for his service, presence, and the years he shared with those who worked alongside him.

Ms. Nuena will be remembered for her dedication to public service, quiet commitment to her work, and the years she spent supporting the daily operations of government in service of the people of Isabela City.
The City Government strongly calls on concerned authorities to ensure the swift investigation and resolution of this tragic incident and to bring justice to Ms. Nuena and her grieving loved ones. At a time when violence continues to wound our communities, we renew our urgent appeal for decisive action to uphold peace and public safety in Isabela City.

The benefit, equivalent to one (1) month basic salary, is granted in accordance with Budget Circular No. 2017-2 issued by the Department of Budget and Management. It is provided to government personnel who have rendered the required minimum period of service and remain in active service as of the prescribed date.
The timely release reflects the local governmentโs priority on employee welfare alongside responsible fiscal administration and compliance with government budgeting and auditing standards.
The processing and distribution of the bonus were undertaken through the coordinated efforts of the City Treasury Office, City Human Resource Management Office, and City Accounting Office to ensure an orderly and efficient payout.
