Ah-pato, ah-pato 2024 celebrated the endemic Philippine duck Anas luzonica and their habitat: wetlands, the 'sponge' ecosystem absorbing the energy and matter transfer of our floodwaters, tidal waves, and storm surges. We claim yellow for Ysa, the lovely Isabela oriole Oriolus isabellae our golden treasure since our first project in 2012 when we verified its distribution across Luzon.
