๐๐ฆ๐จ๐๐๐ก, Sultan Kudarat โ The 12th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, conducted its Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on 01 June 2026 at Headquarters 12RCDG, Purok Paraiso, Kalawag I, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. The activity was attended by officers, enlisted personnel, civilian human resources, reservists, and participants of the Advanced ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) 31/32 and ARAPT 41/42 for Calendar Year 2026, demonstrating the unitโs continued commitment to patriotism, discipline, unity, and public service. The ceremony also served as an occasion to formally introduce Ms. Ariane Corollo Mamalinta, the newly assigned Administrative Assistant II, whose addition to the organization is expected to further strengthen the unitโs administrative capability and support services. Beyond the observance of a longstanding military tradition, the activity reinforced organizational values, fostered camaraderie among personnel, and reaffirmed the collective dedication of Team 12RCDG in advancing the mission of the Reserve Command and the Philippine Army in nation-building, community development, and responsive public service.

12RCDG Celebrates May 2026 Birthday Celebrators Through Fellowship and Camaraderie
ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat โ The 12th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL ANTHONY O. SAMONTE ARM (GSC) PA, Group Commander, conducted a simple yet meaningful birthday celebration for the May 2026 birthday celebrators through a boodle fight held at Headquarters 12RCDG, Purok Paraiso, Kalawag 1, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, on 29 May 2026. Officers, enlisted personnel, and Civilian Human Resources (CivHR) personnel of the unit gathered together in the spirit of unity and camaraderie to honor the celebrators, namely COL ANTHONY O. SAMONTE ARM (GSC) PA, LTC ASLIM M. ULANGKAYA (INF) PA, MAJ JAY PARIS L. CABATIC (INF) PA, and SGT GEI M. ARLANZA (INF) PA.
The activity highlighted the strong bond and teamwork within the organization, emphasizing the importance of fostering morale, friendship, and esprit de corps among personnel. 12RCDG Strengthens Partnership with AFPSLAI Through Donation of Computer Equipment
ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat โ The 12th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL ANTHONY O. SAMONTE ARM (GSC) PA, Group Commander, received a computer monitor and CPU from the Armed Forces and Police Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (AFPSLAI) during a simple turnover activity held at Headquarters 12RCDG, Purok Paraiso, Kalawag 1, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, on 29 May 2026. The donated computer equipment was formally handed over by Ms. Wilma T. Odo, Branch Head of AFPSLAI, together with Ms. Janet S. Espaรฑola, Marketing Specialist of AFPSLAI GENSAN Branch.
The turnover activity highlighted the strong partnership and harmonious relationship between 12RCDG and AFPSLAI in supporting the welfare and operational needs of military personnel. The donated equipment is expected to enhance office productivity and administrative efficiency within the unit. 12RCDG Conducts 1st Semi-Annual CY 2026 Physical Fitness Test, Demonstrates Combat Readiness
ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat โ The 12th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL ANTHONY O. SAMONTE ARM (GSC) PA, Group Commander, successfully conducted its 1st Semi-Annual CY 2026 Physical Fitness Test (PFT) at Headquarters 12RCDG, Purok Paraiso, Kalawag 1, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat, on 29 May 2026.
The activity highlighted the unitโs commitment to maintaining physical readiness, discipline, and operational excellence among its personnel. Facilitated by the Morale Welfare and Recreation Center (MWRC) Team of the 6th Installation Management Battalion, IMCOM, Philippine Army, the PFT ensured a standardized and professional assessment of the physical capabilities of both officers and enlisted personnel.
The conduct of the PFT showcased the endurance, strength, and agility of the troopsโqualities essential in carrying out the unitโs mission of supporting peace, security, and national defense. The successful activity further reinforced a culture of fitness, preparedness, and teamwork within the organization, while emphasizing the Philippine Armyโs continuing efforts to develop highly capable and mission-ready soldiers who are always prepared to respond to any challenge in the service of the Filipino people.

DATU BLAH SINSUAT, Maguindanao del Norte โ COL ANTHONY O. SAMONTE ARM (GSC) PA, Group Commander of the 12th Regional Community Defense Group, Reserve Command, Philippine Army, witnessed the conduct of MAREX 2026 (Marine Exercise 2026) Joint Artillery Littoral Live Fire Exercise held at Barangay Penansaran, Datu Blah Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte on 28 May 2026. Accompanying him were LTC LITO B MAGHUYOP (INF) PA, Director of 1202nd Community Defense Center, together with reservist personnel from 12RCDG who actively participated and observed the large-scale bilateral military exercise hosted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), represented by the Philippine Marine Corps, and the United States Marine Corps.
The exercise demonstrated a full mission-profile amphibious assault operation featuring coordinated multi-domain maneuvers, sea-to-shore assault operations, and live-fire artillery demonstrations designed to strengthen coastal defense capabilities and operational interoperability between allied forces. The participation of reservist personnel highlighted the significant role of the Reserve Force in supporting national defense, disaster response readiness, territorial security, and community-based military operations. The activity further enhanced the reservistsโ exposure to modern warfare strategies, joint operational planning, and combat readiness initiatives alongside active military counterparts and international allies.
Military and local government officials emphasized that MAREX 2026 serves as a vital platform in reinforcing maritime security cooperation, validating littoral defense strategies, and strengthening partnerships among the AFP, allied forces, local government units, and community stakeholders. Provincial officials led by Vice Governor Datu Marshall I. Sinsuat, Provincial Administrator Datu Sharifudin Tucao P. Mastura, CPA, Chief Minister Abdulraof โSammy Gambarโ A. Macacua, and Datu Blah Sinsuat Mayor Bai Raida Tomawis Sinsuat also attended the activity in support of the continuing efforts to safeguard territorial waters, maintain regional stability, and promote peace and security in Mindanao. The involvement of 12RCDG reservists underscores the unwavering commitment of the Reserve Force in contributing to national security and defense preparedness initiatives.
