Nakikipag-ugnayan na ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa mga regional at division offices sa mga paaralan na naapektuhan ng magnitude 7.8 na lindol na naitala sa Sarangani, Mindanao at mga karatig probinsya ngayong umaga, June 8.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 130, Series of 2026, and in view of the recent strong earthquake felt across Sultan Kudarat and nearby areas in Mindanao, classes at all levels (public and private) and work in all government offices in the Province of Sultan Kudarat are hereby suspended on 08 June 2026 until further notice.
This is a precautionary measure to ensure public safety and to allow the conduct of necessary inspections and emergency response operations.
The public is advised to remain calm, stay alert, and await further official advisories.
