On September 30, 2026, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Jagna MPS personnel led by 𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎 𝐀𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐎𝐈𝐂) conducted Strategic Checkpoint Operation particularly National Highway of Barangay Looc, Jagna, Bohol in line with violations of Municipal Ordinance for Traffic laws and regulations. Likewise, this operation aims for maintaining a safe and orderly community that secure and protect against lawless elements.

The primary purpose of the checkpoint was to seize illegal fi****ms and illegal drugs for ensuring a safe and secure of every Jagnaanon. PNP personnel were stationed to inspect vehicles, verify
documentation, and conduct random sobriety checks. Although no illegal fi****ms or illegal drugs were found, several vehicles with incomplete documentation were flagged, and citations were issued for minor violations.

The checkpoint successfully contributed to maintaining security in the community, and it is recommended that such operations continue maintain peace and order of the municipality.

On September 30, 2026, 2026 at about 8:00 PM onwards, Jagna PNP personnel under the direct supervision of 𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎 𝐀𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫-𝐈𝐧-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞) conducted foot patrol and police visibility at the convergence area at Barangay Looc, Jagna, Bohol.

The activity aimed to ensure public safety, maintain peace and order, deter possible criminal activities, and strengthen police presence in the community.

This initiative also highlights the continuous commitment of the Jagna PNP in promoting a safe, secure, and peaceful environment for the public.

The recognition reflects the collective efforts, dedication, and professionalism of the Jagna PNP personnel, both uniformed and non-uniformed, in the effective implementation of police operations and law-enforcement initiatives.

𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀 expressed his sincere appreciation to all Jagna PNP personnel for their commitment and hard work. He likewise extended his gratitude to the LGU Jagna, headed by 𝐇𝐨𝐧. Pastor Ranis emphasized the importance of seeking God's wisdom, upholding moral integrity, and strengthening one's faith in the performance of police duties.

The gathering provided an opportunity for personnel to deepen their relationship with God, foster unity, and renew their commitment to serving the community with honor, compassion, and excellence.

September 29, 2026 | Jagna, Bohol — The Jagna Police Station, under the direct supervision of 𝐏𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐘 𝐂𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎 𝐀𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐀, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 in coordination with various national government agencies, local government offices, force multipliers, organizers, and stakeholders, joined forces to ensure the safety and security of the public during the Sinulog Estokada 2026 Street Dancing in Jagna, Bohol.

Jagna PNP personnel, together with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), 702nd PNP personnel augmentation, BPATs, MDRRMO, RHU, LGU Jagna, Catholic Church organizers, Jagna Traffic Management Unit (JTMU), Recon Jagna Chapter, and other stakeholders, conducted route security and police visibility during the street dancing participated in by eight clusters of dancers.

The security and safety operations covered the designated route and activity areas leading to the Jagna Sports Complex Ground, Barangay Tejero, Jagna, Bohol, the venue of the celebration.
The coordinated deployment aims to maintain peace and order, public safety, crowd management, traffic safety, and emergency preparedness throughout the activity, ensuring a safe and peaceful celebration for residents, visitors, performers, and devotees.
The Sinulog Estokada 2026 forms part of the festivities honoring Sr. San Miguel Archangel, the beloved patron saint of the Municipality of Jagna, Bohol.

The Jagna PNP, together with its partner agencies, force multipliers, organizers, and stakeholders, remains committed to providing visible, responsive, and community-centered police service in support of a safe and peaceful celebration.
