The Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) and the entire Local Government Unit of Janiuay under the leadership of Mayor Paulino "Paul" Parian join the observance of the 23rd National ADHD Awareness Week, reaffirming our commitment to promoting awareness, understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of individuals with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
This observance calls us to look beyond labels and misconceptions and see the person behind the diagnosis. It reminds us that sometimes, what an individual needs is not judgment or criticism, but patience, understanding, appropriate support, and an environment where they feel accepted and valued.
As we continue advocating for the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities, let us work together to build homes, schools, workplaces, and communities that recognize individual differences, respect dignity, and provide equal opportunities for everyone.
Because inclusion is more than awarenessโit is about making every person feel that they belong, that their voice matters, and that they have a place in our community.
Let us continue to champion a community where understanding replaces stigma, compassion inspires action, and no one is left behind.
In Janiuay, No One is Left Behind! ๐
