Delegation from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) VI under the Environmental and Land Use Planning and Development Division (ELUPDD) paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Mayor on September 21, 2026, to monitor the target LGUs under PLANSMART and assess their progress in the Module 1 Training in preparation for the upcoming Module 2 Training.

The delegation was welcomed by Mayor Paulino "Paul" Parian. It was composed of Ar. Jetrho M. Basmayor, EnP., HHRO II, ELUPDD, Ar. Marie Deanne C. Berganio, EnP., PMEO IV, ELUPDD, Ar. Philline Grace A. Dicar, PMEO IV, Architect and PLANADO Coordinator, and EnP. Vophi E. Pendon, HHRO IV.

Also present during the courtesy visit were Mr. Cyroh Deek C. Catedral, EnP., Acting MGDH-MPDO, Engr. Katrina Insular, Zoning Officer II, Mr. Timothy C. Agalla, Administrative Aide VI, and Mr. Neil P. Mission, Statistician II, together with the MPDO staff, who assisted in coordinating with the delegation.

Officials of Barangay Dabong, led by Punong Barangay Hon. Winnie C. Canitan, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Mayor on September 21, 2026, to discuss their request for assistance for the improvement of their farm-to-market road.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mayor Paulino "Paul" Parian, who received their request and discussed possible support for the barangayโ€™s road improvement needs. The visit also served as an opportunity for the barangay officials and the Municipal Government to strengthen coordination and discuss possible assistance for projects that would benefit the community.

Also present were Barangay Kagawads Josephine Paquiao, Johnalimd Cordon, Joe Nido Buscar, Mylin Sibaton, Merlyn Borja, Brenda Estrada, and Alex Sencil.

Mayor Paulino "Paul" Parian graced the Janiuay Municipal Police Stationโ€™s Project R. T. T. (Restrict, Track and Turn in) Campaign against the illegal use of fi****ms on September 21 at the New Conference Room, Janiuay Municipal Hall.

The activity was led by OIC Chief of Police PCPT Randy Lambungan, together with PSSG Joey C. Sabordo, and was attended by DILG Janiuay MLGOO Irene L. Salazar and personnel of the Janiuay Municipal Police Station.

The campaign highlights the continued collaboration between the Local Government Unit and law enforcement agencies in strengthening peace and public safety, while promoting responsible fi***rm ownership and compliance with existing laws in the municipality.

The Municipal Development Council (MDC) Executive Committee convened a meeting at the Old Conference Room on September 21, 2026, to discuss and approve the urgent Supplemental Annual Investment Program (AIP) of the Municipality of Janiuay.

The meeting was chaired by Mayor Paulino "Paul" Parian, together with Municipal Administrator Augusto P. Borra, SB Member Hon. James Ian A. Adelantar, Liga ng mga Barangay President , Hon. Manuel Moley F. Locsin, CSO Representative Mr. Alvin Solis, Municipal Budget Officer Eva G. Larios, Mr. Cyroh Deek C. Catedral, EnP., Acting MPDO, and Mr. Timothy C. Agalla, Administrative Aide VI from the MPDO.

The meeting focused on the timely review and approval of priority items under the Supplemental AIP, supporting the municipalityโ€™s continuing efforts to address urgent needs and ensure responsive implementation of local development programs and projects.

Mayor Paulino "Paul" Parian welcomed representatives from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) PAMANA during their courtesy visit to the Office of the Mayor on September 21.

The delegation was composed of Engr. Devie S. Ignacio, PDO II, Engr. David John Dagoro, PDO IV, Ebony C. Parcia, and Hennie G. Pionela of OPAPRU PAMANA.
