HEADS, UP! The Christian Youth Coalition - C*C is inviting Bangsamoro youth who have interest for the meaningful participation of the youth from settler communities in BARMM and be part of Project Kaamgohan.

"Kaamgohan" is a Cebuano word that translates as "awareness." This project is an initiative of the Christian Youth Coalition (C*C) to provide youth from settler communities in Cotabato City opportunities for meaningful participation in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The project seeks to educate and empower the target youth in the Bangsamoro specifically on governance and peacebuilding towards active participation and involvement in peace and security in BARMM.

Community Development Officer I Waddhimer A. Kuddah facilitated the community orientation in barangay Umangay municipality of Patikul with the assistance of Provincial Coordinator Bibelyn S. Abdurasad.

Congratulations to our Bangsamoro athlete from Tawi-Tawi, Mr. Alnakran “Ran” Abdilla, for bagging a bronze medal in Men's Beach Volleyball during the 31st Southeast Asian Games held in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Mr. Abdilla is an active member of Tawi-Tawi Sanib Pwersa Kabataan, Inc., a youth organization accredited by the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC).

Thank you for bringing pride and honor to the Bangsamoro!

May 31, 2022 @ Brgy Niangkaan, Omar, Sulu the Community Development Officers Suraya Albani and Nadz-Ryna Matarul together with the Provincial Coordinator Bibelyn S. Abdurasad administered a community orientation to the KAPYANAN project beneficiaries.

Kapayapaan sa Pamayanan (KAPYANAN) overview, goals and objectives were clearly presented and discussed by PC Abdurasad.

Hon. Jabar Pantasan, Newly elected Vice Mayor of the municipality witnessed and served as a guest representative on behalf of Hon. Abdulbaki Ajibon, Municipal Mayor. BLGU thru the leadership of Hon. Romielyn P. Julkarnain flaunt thier full support to KAPYANAN Project.

As Hon. Julkarnain said on her message of support" Big gratitude to KAPYANAN to bring its abetment to Niangkaan community people, it was a long time ago, i have been searching for any assistance that will cater the need of our community people, and alhamdulillah! Only KAPYANAN acknowledge our needs and we as a Local government Unit leader appreciated tose very much. "

Issues and concerns had been answered and addressed by PC Abdurasad.

COMMUNITY ORIENTATION

On May 29,2022 the assigned Community Development Officer I steward the conduction of the Community Orientation held in Brgy. Kagay, Indanan in the presence of BLGU headed by the Barangay Chairman Hon. Fradzkhan Ibrahim , project beneficiaries, CDOs and some of the representative from the 100 Infantry (KALASAG) Batallion.

The activity was formally opened with a duwa'a and followed by an opening message given by the barangay chairman. The overview of the program was bestowed by Ferwina Sarail, CDO I assigned in the above mentioned barangay.

A gratitude message was given by the KAPYANAN Provincial Coordinator Bibelyn S. Abdurasad and emphasized that "On behalf of the KAPYANAN headed by Project Manager Sir Abdullah M. Cusain, we thank you for all the patience and cooperations that you have been bestowed to us, let us not compare our status/achievement to other, let us be positive that our program will bring more positive output that will address the need of our dear Bangsamoro people. Let us be grateful to our Chief Minister for bringing his government closer to its citizen.

Various concerns and quiries were raised from the attendees but was being answered. Status updates of the construction in the different targeted barangays were also highlighted by PC Abdurasad.

COMMUNITY ORIENTATION

Among the important activities of the KAPYANAN is Community Orientation, which aim to introduce and provide an overview regarding KAPYANAN PROJECT.

On May 28,2022 Community Development Officer I (CDO) assigned in Barangay Kaunayan, Patikul Ms. Minda U. Asgar facilitated the conduction of the said activity. With the presence of the project beneficiaries, Barangay Officials headed by Hon. Sitti Ina Tani, Barangay Charwoman, Bibelyn S. Abdurasad, KAPYANAN Provincial Coordinator and the CDOs from the other municipalities.

The highlight of the activity was a message from the Barangay Chairwoman, Hon. Tani extent her gratitude to the KAPYANAN and to the Office of the Chief Minister for addressing thier needs. And an overview of the program given by the KAPYANAN Provincial Coordinator. An open forum also among the beneficiaries has been done to address thier quiries and concerns.

The activity went well and closed with a prayer.
