Look: In connection with the celebration of world Oceans Day, the Marine Environmental Protection Enforcement and Response Unit (MEPERU) Western Sulu, together with Marine Science Technician (MST) Sulu, successfully led the conduct of Coastal Clean-up and Scubasurero activity on June 08, 2025, at Litayon Beach, Brgy Umangay Patikul Sulu.
This event was made possible through the support of CGS Western Sulu headed by CDR AL-HAFIDZ T BIH PCG and other participating units from CGSS Jolo, CGMT Patikul, CG SOF, CG K9, CG SMU BARMM and CGWCEIS.
the participants were to scoured approximately Seven Hundred (700) SQM of Coastline, collection a total of thirty (30) Sacks of Garbage with assorted debris of Biodegrable Garbage and Non-Biodegrable Garbage, a tangible result of collective efforts from the community who knows its environmental responsibility.
This vibrant initiative stands as a testament to MEPCOM's unwavering commitment to safeguarding our marine ecosystems.
