Today, our personnel attended the Capacity-Building, Training, and Intensive Coaching on the Preparation and Submission of the Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (SRE) under the Local Treasury Operations Manual (LTOM).
The activity aims to strengthen the knowledge and technical competencies of MTO personnel in the preparation, accurate reporting and timely submission of the SRE, ensuring compliance with prescribed standards and procedures.Through continuous learning and capacity-building, the MTO remains committed to enhancing its financial management practices and delivering efficient, transparent and accountable treasury services to the municipality.

b.Discussion of insights that may be adopted and applied in the operations of the Municipal Treasurer’s Office.
c.Identification of strategies and improvements that can strengthen revenue collection and frontline services.

2. Presentation of Real Property Tax and General Collections as of August 31, 2026.
a.Presentation of the latest collection performance for Real Property Tax and other general/local revenue sources as of August 31, 2026.
b.Comparison of actual collections against targets and previous collection performance.
c.Assessment of collection accomplishments, variances and areas requiring additional attention.

3. Collection Strategies for the Last Quarter of 2026

a.Discussion of intensified collection measures to maximize revenue generation during the remaining months of 2026.
b.Strengthening of information dissemination, monitoring of delinquent accounts and follow-up on outstanding tax obligations.
