ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROGRAM | NATIONAL FAMILY WEEK 2026
As we celebrate National Family Week 2026, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of Kabankalan City, in collaboration with the Disaster Rescue Operation of the City of Kabankalan (DROCK), joins the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) in supporting the Adopt-a-Family Program.
Launched by the CSWDO of Kabankalan City in observance of National Family Week from September 23–30, 2026, the program aims to strengthen family ties, promote resilience, and extend meaningful assistance to vulnerable families in our community.
For this initiative, we are supporting the Lanuza Family of Barangay 3, Kabankalan City, identified through the CSWDO’s Adopt-a-Family Program and endorsed by Kagawad Jessie Jareño.
The Lanuza family is composed of the parents and their two young children. The father is a laborer, while the mother is a housewife. Their family’s situation reminds us that behind every household is a story of hard work, hopes, challenges, and dreams for a better future.
Through the Adopt-a-Family Program, we are given an opportunity not only to provide material assistance but also to show compassion, solidarity, and genuine concern for families who need support.
