𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | On July 18–19, 2026, the Peer Educators Training for the Child Representatives of the Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (MCPC) of Banga was successfully held at the ATI Function Hall, Aklan State University – Banga Campus through the collaborative efforts of the Aklan Provincial Population and Gender Office (AKPPGO), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), and the Municipal Health Office (MHO).
The two-day training gathered 22 child representatives, with one participant from each barangay of Banga, to strengthen their knowledge, leadership, communication skills, and capacity to become effective peer educators and advocates for children and adolescents in their respective communities.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Norberto R. Seraspi, RSW, of the MSWDO–Banga, and Ms. Stanelly Lima, Banga Primary Care Facility, for their invaluable support and dedication in making this activity a success.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to the committed Aklan Peer Educators who facilitated the sessions with passion and enthusiasm, under the guidance of the AKPPGO team—Mr. Paul Adrian Pelayo (AHD Coordinator), Raffy T. Relator, and Devriz Demeterio, whose mentorship and technical assistance greatly contributed to the meaningful learning experience of the participants.
