Are you planning to run for Punong Barangay, Barangay Kagawad, SK Chairperson, or SK Kagawad in the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections? This is your opportunity to prepare the necessary documents for your Certificate of Candidacy (COC) filing.

According to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), although the BSKE Postponement Bill has already been passed by Congress, it has not yet been signed into law by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. (PBBM). Until the legislative process is completed and the corresponding law takes effect, COMELEC continues to implement the necessary preparations in accordance with the existing election calendar and applicable rules.
Please be guided accordingly and stay updated through official COMELEC announcements and advisories. All prospective candidates are encouraged to verify the requirements, procedures, and deadlines with the nearest COMELEC Office before submitting their Certificate of Candidacy.

The filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) is scheduled to begin on September 28, 2026, and will continue until October 2, 2026.
