COMMUNITY FIRE PROTECTION PLAN WORKSHOP (CFPP) - OBLIGASYON SA BAYAN LIGTAS NA PAMAYANAN (OLP) 𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐑𝐆𝐘. 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐍

The Bureau of Fire Protection Kapalong Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐂 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐎, Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted the two-day "Community Fire Protection Plan Workshop (CFPP) activity at Barangay Capungagan as part of its continuous commitment to strengthening community-based fire safety and emergency preparedness.

This program aims to engage the community in assessing and identifying fire safety concerns and potential challenges during emergency situations.

Among the activities conducted were access route profiling to determine fire truck accessibility, hose mapping, hazard identification, and community assessment. These initiatives were carried out to enhance fire prevention awareness and strengthen the barangay’s emergency response capabilities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Barangay Captain of Barangay Capungagan, Hon. Sergio A. Acquiatan Jr., for his unwavering cooperation and commitment to public safety. Likewise, we express our heartfelt gratitude to the MDRRMO Kapalong for their valuable assistance, coordination, and support throughout the activity.

Your collective efforts played a vital role in the successful conduct of this undertaking and in promoting a safer and more prepared community for everyone.

In line with the theme “Obligasyon sa Bayan, Ligtas na Pamayanan” (OLP), Kapalong Fire Station personnel conducted a Risk Vulnerability Assessment to identify potential fire hazards and strengthen safety measures within the community.

This initiative aims to enhance preparedness, minimize risks, and ensure the protection of lives and properties.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | The Kapalong Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of 𝐅𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐂 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐎, conducted a Fire Safety Drill and Lecture for the employees of BDO Network Bank located at Barangay Maniki, Kapalong, Davao del Norte.

The activity aimed to promote preparedness and proper emergency response, as well as to enhance participants’ awareness in handling fire incidents. It included demonstrations on proper evacuation procedures and the use of basic firefighting equipment.
