💚 BEYOND THE DATE, THE ADVOCACY CONTINUES: CHANGING THE NARRATIVE ON SU***DE 💚

Every conversation matters. Every life deserves hope.

In observance of Mental Health Month this October, and in continued recognition of World Su***de Prevention Day commemorated every September 10, Davao del Norte Hospital – Kapalong Zone (DDNHKZ) conducted a mental health awareness lecture highlighting the theme “Changing the Narrative on Su***de.”

While World Su***de Prevention Day is observed in September, its message extends beyond a single date. This October, we continue to strengthen awareness, break the stigma surrounding mental health, and encourage open, compassionate conversations about su***de prevention by conducting a comprehensive lecture conducted by our Social Worker Ms. Rogeline M. Quilla, RSW, at the OPD.

The activity served as a meaningful reminder that mental health matters, seeking help is a sign of strength, and creating a safe and supportive environment is everyone’s responsibility.

Through continued education and advocacy, DDNHKZ remains committed to fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and hope—where every voice is heard, every struggle is acknowledged, and every life is valued.
