KCAST LIRC

The compressed workweek includes the office of the LIRC. Hence, the access to the internet area and the borrowing and returning of books are allowed only on Monday to Thursday from 7AM-6PM starting March 23, 2026 except for weeks with holiday/s until further notice. However, ALL access to the online resources of the library will be available daily.

ADVISORY ON WORK ARRANGEMENT||

Please be guided on the BOT-approved work arrangement effective March 23, 2026:

🔹 Non-Teaching Personnel
All non-teaching staff, including the Registrar and Library, shall follow the LGU compressed workweek except those in essential services such as health personnel, security, drivers and utility personnel.
🗓️ Monday to Thursday
⏰ 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

➡️ In case there is a holiday within the week (e.g., Holy Week), all personnel will revert to the regular schedule:
⏰ 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Daily

🔹 Faculty Members:
✔️ Not affected – classes proceed as scheduled
✔️ Face-to-face classes remain on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
✔️ Faculty may opt for compressed workweek if there are no Friday and weekend classes

HOLIDAY ADVISORY||

In observance of Eid’l Fitr, a regular holiday, all academic and administrative offices of Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (KCAST) shall be closed on March 20 (Friday).

In line with this, classes are suspended on the said date and shall resume on March 21 (Saturday).

Let us join our Muslim brothers and sisters in celebrating this meaningful occasion of peace, gratitude, and unity.

Please be informed that the schedule for the Campus Entrance Examination will be posted on March 16, 2026.

The conduct of the entrance examination is currently integrated with Career Guidance activities in DepEd schools to provide greater convenience for incoming freshmen and to ensure wider access, particularly for students from far-flung schools and Indigenous communities.

Kindly bear with us as we are still finalizing the schedule. The official schedule will be posted once it is ready, in line with our school calendar.

To our valued patrons:

The Learning and Information Resource Center (LIRC) has a new and adjusted operating hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM until further notice. Still, the reading area is not available for usage and only the internet area is allowed for student use on the said schedule. The library is closed during Saturdays and Sundays. The LIRC allows book scanning and borrowing during operating hours.
