Last July 15-16, 2026, the Barangay Development Council (BDC) successfully conducted the Barangay Development Planning (BDP) workshop. The activity was facilitated by the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) to guide the council in identifying the barangay’s priority needs, issues, and development goals.

The workshop served as a collaborative platform for barangay officials and stakeholders to formulate strategic plans that will contribute to the sustainable growth and development of the community. Through the guidance of the MPDO, the BDC strengthened its capacity to prepare responsive and people-centered development programs and projects for Barangay Siguem.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) for sharing their expertise and providing valuable technical assistance throughout the planning process. Your guidance and commitment to strengthening local governance are greatly appreciated. We also thank all members of the Barangay Development Council and stakeholders for their active participation and invaluable contributions in crafting a shared vision for the continued progress of Barangay Siguem.

If ever man nga qualified ti annak tayo, please submit their names, umay da jay barangay hall nu bigat (sabado) ti malem ken bring ID.

Guidelines:
1. Dapat awan kabsat na nga college graduate.
2. 3rd year, 4th year, or 5th year student
3. Haan nga scholar.
4. Awan back subject na.

Look | On July 1, 2026, Barangay Siguem successfully conducted the Run for a Cause as part of its commitment to promoting community health and well-being.
The proceeds generated from the activity were allocated for the purchase of vitamins to support the nutritional needs of malnourished children in the barangay, contributing to the local government’s efforts to improve child health and nutrition.

Barangay Siguem Proudly Joins the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN)

Barangay Siguem proudly participated in the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) through a health and nutrition education activity aimed at promoting proper nutrition, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles among community members.

The program featured the following speakers:
• Ms. Diana Rose Valiente, Nutritionist, who discussed the importance of proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.
• Dra. Glenda Macasling, Dentist, shared valuable information on oral health and generously provided free fluoride treatment for children, for which Barangay Siguem sincerely extends its gratitude.
• Ms. Justalyn Troyo, Physical Therapist, emphasized the benefits of regular physical activity.
• Ms. Myla Ramiscal, Nurse, discussed the importance of childhood immunization.
• Ms. Amalia Tumaneng, DMO IV, highlighted the objectives of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition and encouraged the community to support nutrition and health programs.

Barangay Siguem also extends its heartfelt appreciation to Ms. Analyn Nood, the Nurse-in-Charge of Barangay Siguem, for her dedication, support, and invaluable assistance in the successful conduct of the activity. Likewise, we sincerely thank all the generous parents who donated fresh vegetables (gulay). Your kindness and support greatly contributed to the success of the program.

The activity was successfully conducted through the cooperation of the Municipal Health Office, barangay council, health workers, BNS, and community members, reflecting Barangay Siguem’s commitment to building a healthier and well-nourished community.
