The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kibawe officially underwent the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Audit today, October 5, 2026, held at the Municipal Conference Room.
The assessment was led by assessors from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region 10's Local Government Capacity Development Division (LGCDD) to measure the municipality's adherence to Republic Act No. 11032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.
During the session, the audit team reviewed critical compliance documents and regulatory frameworks operationalized by the local government. Primary deliverables presented during the evaluation included the municipality's updated Citizen’s Charter, the Executive Order creating the local Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), sample sets of filled-out Unified Application Forms alongside issued business and building permits, and the municipal Revenue Code.
The evaluation forms part of ongoing regional efforts to ensure that local government units maintain streamlined, transparent, and responsive administrative processes aimed at reducing red tape and improving service delivery for local business owners and citizens alike.
