A Technical Assistance activity on the SubayBAYAN Portal System was successfully conducted on May 28, 2026 in the municipalities of Tantangan, and Tampakan to assist LGU focal persons in improving their project monitoring and reporting processes.

The activity focused on guiding participants on the proper uploading of required documents in the SubayBAYAN system and discussing the current status of projects under their respective LGUs based on the assessment results conducted last April 2026.

The morning session took place at LGU Tantangan together with MLGOO Fiorello G. Elizaga, where focal persons were oriented on the correct procedures in updating project information, attaching supporting documents, and ensuring the completeness of reports in the system. A courtesy visit was also made with Mayor Timee Joy G. Torres-Gonzales, emphasizing the importance of accurate and timely reporting in strengthening transparency and accountability in project implementation.

In the afternoon, the technical assistance continued at LGU Tampakan in coordination with MLGOO Marijovy C. Manzano. Discussions focused on addressing concerns encountered by focal persons in using the SubayBAYAN portal, clarifying documentation requirements, and reviewing project statuses reflected in the recent assessment. A courtesy visit was likewise conducted with Mayor Leonard T. Escobillo, RN, recognizing the support of the local government in ensuring compliance with monitoring and reporting standards.

The activity served as an avenue to strengthen coordination between DILG and the LGUs while enhancing the capability of focal persons in managing and maintaining accurate project data in the SubayBAYAN system. Through continuous guidance and collaboration, LGUs are better equipped to monitor project implementation and deliver updated, reliable, and transparent information for the benefit of the community.
