MAGHINATAGAY PROJECT 2025
We are beyond grateful to share the beautiful experience of Maghinatagay Project 2025 at Sitio Datal Kadi, Brgy. Tasiman, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. This year's outreach was made even more meaningful by the genuine warmth and gratitude of the children.
After hiking for one hour and crossing two rivers, the Kabugwason Paglaum scholars finally reached the schoolโwith hearts full of hope and hands carrying school supplies, hygiene kits, and gifts. We taught the children basic reading skills, played fun games, and witnessed something truly touching: the pupils sang a thank-you song for us. It was a sincere gesture that moved us deeply and reminded us why we serve.
Each child received notebooks, pencils, hygiene kits, and a pair of slippersโa small but significant gift for children who walk long distances just to attend school. Their joy and smiles were more than enough reward for our journey.
Special thanks to Marbel General Merchandise Corporation (NCT) for giving discounts on the needed materials. We deeply appreciate all Kabugwason Alumni who extended their financial help for this project. Lastly, our immense thanks to the provincial government of South Cotabato, headed by Gov. Reynaldo S. Tamayo, Jr., for the continued support and provision of motor vehicles. Your contributions made this project a resounding success!
Together, we are building bridges of hopeโone child, one community at a time.
