Matagumpay na naisagawa ng Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII at Pag-IBIG Fund ang 4Ps Alkansya Program Orientation, na ginanap sa umaga sa Municipality of Banga at sa hapon sa Municipality of Sto. Niño.

Layunin ng programang ito na hikayatin ang mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps na mag-ipon at palawakin ang kanilang kaalaman sa wastong pamamahala ng pananalapi, tungo sa mas matatag at ligtas na kinabukasan. 💰✨

Sa pangunguna ng PESO Koronadal, CSWDO at 4Ps Convergence Koronadal City, katuwang ang dalawampu’t pitong (27) ahensya na magsisilbing mga employer sa araw na ito, ay inilaan ang aktibidad para sa mga benepisyaryo ng 4Ps at mga job seekers sa Lungsod ng Koronadal.

"Kalambuan" honors 443 4Ps graduates in Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY, SOUTH COTABATO – The City of Koronadal celebrated a significant milestone for its beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) with a grand "Kalambuan/Pugay Tagumpay" ceremony held today, November 11, 2025, at the South Cotabato Cultural Gymnasium.

The event, themed "Pugay Tagumpay sa mga magsisipagtapos na benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program," recognized the successful completion and graduation of 443 beneficiaries from the program. This cohort included 393 female and 50 male graduates, marking their transition towards greater self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.

The ceremony was a vibrant testament to the hard work and dedication of the graduates and the collaborative efforts of various government agencies. Leading the successful undertaking was Ms. Benilda Cortez, the Provincial Link of 4Ps South Cotabato.

The event was graced by key officials from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XII: Mr. Bonifacio V. Selma Jr., Assistant Regional Director for Operations and Ms. Naifa S. Balindong, Regional Program Coordinator/Division Chief of 4Ps.

The commitment of the local government to the program's success was evident with the strong attendance of city officials. Honorable Erlinda "Bing" Pabi Araquil, City Vice Mayor of Koronadal, delivered a powerful and inspirational message to the 4Ps graduates, encouraging them as they embark on their next chapter. Also present were esteemed members of the City Council, including: Honorable Esther Marin Catorce, Committee Chair on Education, Honorable Grace S. Albios, and Honorable Margarita Subaldo, Committee Chair on Social Services.

Adding to the esteemed guests was Ms. Jennifer Magbanua, the City Social Welfare and Development Officer of Koronadal City, whose office plays a crucial role in implementing social welfare programs.

The "Pugay Tagumpay/Kalambuan" celebration signifies not just the end of their journey with the 4Ps program but a victorious step toward sustainable progress for the graduates and their families. Former 4Ps Model Family from T’boli Recognized in South Cotabato Provincial Most Outstanding Model Family Search

Koronadal City, South Cotabato — The Rala family of Barangay Afus, T’boli, South Cotabato has been recognized as one of the finalists in the South Cotabato Provincial Most Outstanding Model Family Search 2025 yesterday, November 7, at the South Cotabato Gym and Cultural Center.

Proud members of the Indigenous Peoples (IP) community, the Rala family was previously recognized as 2023 Huwarang Pantawid Pamilya Regional Winner for their exemplary values, perseverance, and commitment to sustainable development.

In 2023, the family officially exited from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) after achieving a stable source of income and improved living conditions.

Mr. Roberto Rala, the head of the family, serves as a pastor, guiding his community in faith and moral leadership. His wife, Mrs. Rhea Rala, oversees their tomato, corn, and coffee farming livelihood, which has become their primary source of income. Together, they have raised three children who are currently pursuing their studies in college and high school, demonstrating the family’s strong commitment to education and personal growth.

Naifah S. Balindong, the 4Ps Division Chief of DSWD XII, lauded the family’s inspiring transition from program beneficiaries to community role models.

“The Rala family embodies the true success of the Pantawid Program — families who have turned opportunities into lasting progress. Their story reflects that with faith, unity, and perseverance, every family can rise above poverty and inspire others,” she said.

Today, the Rala family continues to inspire other Indigenous and 4Ps families in Barangay Afus and beyond — proving that transformation is possible through hard work, education, and faith.

134 4Ps Beneficiaries Complete TESDA Skills Training in Basic Massage Therapy and Small Engine Servicing NC II

T’boli, South Cotabato – A total of 134 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) proudly completed their skills training courses under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

97 graduates completed under the Basic Massage Therapy Program while 37 in Small Engine Servicing NC II.

The training is spearheaded by Ms. Pamela Lyn Casa, a TESDA Provincial Administrator to equip 4Ps beneficiaries with employable skills to help them achieve sustainable income and financial independence.

In her message, she commended the graduates for their dedication and perseverance.

“This training is not just about learning a skill—it’s about empowering families to improve their quality of life. We hope our graduates will use this knowledge to start their own livelihood and contribute to the progress of our community,” said Casa.

DSWD and TESDA representatives likewise encouraged the graduates to continue upgrading their skills and to make full use of the employment or entrepreneurial opportunities available through the 4Ps Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and other government initiatives.

The 134 completers received certificates of completion and are now qualified to undergo TESDA National Competency Assessment (NC II) for official certification. Successful passers will have the opportunity to apply their skills in local wellness centers, repair shops, or even start small businesses of their own.
