𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 | 𝟬𝟯 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - Sustainability is no longer just a trend, it’s a smart business strategy. Today, 45 participants from hotels, restaurants, resorts, and other service industry enterprises across South Cotabato, General Santos City, and Sarangani Province gathered at Q Citipark Hotel, General Santos City for the Green My Enterprise Training conducted by RTWPB-XII in partnership with ECC-REU XII.

The training equipped MSMEs with practical strategies to adopt greener workplace practices, improve resource efficiency, and build safer, more sustainable enterprises—helping businesses reduce costs while contributing to environmental stewardship and employee well-being.

Pursuant to Proclamation No. 1264, Wednesday, 27 May 2026, is declared a 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 nationwide in observance of 𝗘𝗶𝗱’𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗵𝗮 (𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲).

Employees who do not report for work on the said holiday shall receive 100% of their daily wage, provided they are present or on approved paid leave on the workday immediately before the holiday. Those who render work shall be entitled to 200% of their regular wage for the first eight hours.

On the second day of convergence between RTWPB-XII and DTI-XII South Cotabato Province Office, RTWPB-XII conducted the 7S of Good Housekeeping Training today, May 20, 2026, at the RTWPB-XII Conference Room, City of Koronadal. The activity gathered around 14 participants from various coconut industry MSMEs in South Cotabato to learn practical strategies in improving workplace organization, productivity, efficiency, and safety.

The training focused on the principles of 7S of Good Housekeeping, its step-by-step process, and effective implementation in participants’ respective workplaces and enterprises. Serving as the Resource Persons, the RTWPB-XII Secretariat emphasized how organized and well-maintained work areas can help MSMEs improve operations, product quality, and overall business competitiveness. Special thanks to DTI-XII South Cotabato Province Office for its continued partnership and support.

MSMEs from the coconut industry in South Cotabato explored how social media and AI can become powerful tools for business growth during the “𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮” training conducted by RTWPB-XII on May 19, 2026 at the RTWPB-XII Conference Room, City of Koronadal, in partnership with DTI-XII South Cotabato Province Office.

The activity equipped 14 participants from various coconut-based enterprises with practical knowledge on social media marketing, AI basics, and the use of AI-powered tools and apps in creating engaging digital content, improving online presence, and boosting enterprise productivity. The training highlighted how technology can help MSMEs work smarter, market faster, and connect better with customers in today’s digital economy.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Randy Oliver Legada, MIT, IT Officer I of RTWPB-XII. Special thanks to DTI-XII South Cotabato Province Office for its continued partnership in empowering local MSMEs through innovation and digital transformation.
