The four-day Skills Training on Multimedia Production for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Advocacy Campaign and Information Management for PDRRM Council Members and Emergency Responders in South Cotabato is structured to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Through a combination of discussions, practical demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, participants will gain essential skills and knowledge across various areas crucial for effective disaster communication and response coordination. The training will cover the following key components and topics: Social Media Marketing, Effective Video and Photo Editing, Logo Designing, Information Management Structure, Poster and Visual Design, and Graphic Layouting.

The Department of Energy (DOE) has started its preparations for the La Niña phrnomenon to avoid or mitigate damages to transmission lines.

"La Niña naman po ang pinaghahandaan na namin ngayon, kasi pagpasok naman po ng La Niña kapag humalo sa tag-ulan sobra naman po ang tubig," DOE Assistant Secretary Mario Marasigan said in a forum in Quezon City on Saturday.
