The Department of Health - Center for Health Development SOCCSKSARGEN issued 429 Licenses to Operate for 2025 and resolved 24 complaints. The DOH emphasizes continuous quality improvement and fair enforcement. In Q1 2025, 119 facilities completed their permits on time, 120 were monitored, one faced surveillance, and five complaints were resolved, demonstrating proactive efforts in upholding healthcare standards.

By evaluating facilities, the monitoring team identified areas of excellence and addressed any potential gaps in compliance. This proactive approach not only ensures adherence to established regulations but also fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the healthcare sector.

This concerted effort underscores the commitment to upholding standards and minimum requirements across both public and private healthcare institutions. The region is working to build a healthcare system that the people of SOCCSKSARGEN can trust and rely upon for high-quality care. The outcomes of these inspections are anticipated to contribute significantly to the overall enhancement of healthcare delivery within the region.

The Department of Health - Center for Health Development SOCCSKSARGEN is undertaking a comprehensive initiative to ensure the quality of healthcare services throughout the first quarter of 2025 spearheaded by the Regulatory, Licensing, and Enforcement Division (RLED), the initiative regulates public and private health facilities via licensing, monitoring, surveillance of non-compliant facilities, and complaint resolution. Dedicated monitoring teams composed of Medical Officers, Nurses, Medical Technologists, Engineers, and other Licensing Officers will be conducting thorough regulatory compliance monitoring and inspections of all health facilities within the region.
