📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY | ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

The Office of the Provincial Engineer advises the public that the Modon–Kiantay Boundary Road, particularly the section at Sitio Aposateng, Barangay Upper Sepaka, Surallah, South Cotabato, is TOTALLY IMPASSABLE TO ALL MOTORISTS.

The road sustained severe damage due to the flooding incident that occurred on July 23, 2026, making it unsafe for all types of vehicles to pass.

All motorists are strongly advised not to attempt to traverse the affected road section and to use alternate routes until further notice.

The Office of the Provincial Engineer is currently conducting assessment and initiating the necessary interventions to restore road accessibility as soon as conditions permit. Further updates will be posted through this page.

Temporary Full Closure of Topland Bridge Starting November 5, 2025

The Office of the Provincial Engineer – Province of South Cotabato informs the public that Topland Bridge, connecting Brgy. Topland (Koronadal City) and Brgy. Buto (Tampakan), will be fully closed to all types of traffic starting tomorrow, November 5, 2025, until further notice.

This closure is necessary to allow our team to thoroughly assess the structural integrity of the bridge and carry out temporary immediate repairs to ensure everyone’s safety.

We sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation during this period and encourage motorists and commuters to take alternative routes. Updates will be provided as soon as the bridge is deemed safe for public use.
