Pagulong, Manpower Development Officer II, natutunan nilang maghanda at magluto ng iba’t ibang menu, tulad ng Kani roll Salad, White sweet Salad, Pumpkin soup, at Mushroom soup habang sabay na hinuhubog ang kanilang culinary skills at teamwork.

This morning, our trainees and staff actively participated in a Zumba session facilitated by the Medical Unit together with the interns.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII – Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center (DSWD FO XII-AVRC) successfully launched its partnership with Palmes Institute of Technology Incorporated through a ceremonial signing held today, March 10, 2026, at Brgy. Rotonda, City of Koronadal.
The ceremonial signing was graciously hosted by the School President, Psyche Palmes, together with her dedicated staff. The event was attended by the supportive DSWD Regional Director, Loreto Jr. V. Cabaya, Division Chief Nanig C. Sanoy, RSW, Regional Center Coordinator Jeahanne Dari, RSW, Center Head of AVRC Ombra S. Sangcupan, LPT, Center Head of HFGW Rosemarie Alcebar, along with other staff members from both centers.
This partnership signifies a shared commitment to strengthening vocational rehabilitation initiatives and expanding opportunities for skills development, empowerment, and inclusive growth for the PWD individuals and communities served by the institutions.
As stipulated in the signed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), Palmes Institute of Technology, Inc. will assist Persons with Disabilities (PWD) clients enrolled in the Massage Therapy course in obtaining the National Certificate II (NC II) from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
Furthermore, the Institute expressed its commitment to hire qualified PWD graduates from the AVRC, providing them with employment opportunities suited to their acquired skills and competencies.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 12 extends its deepest condolences on the passing of Koronadal City Mayor Eliordo U. Ogena.
Mayor Ogena was a dedicated public servant whose leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people of Koronadal City left a meaningful impact on the community.
The Department honors his contributions to public service and joins the people of Koronadal City in mourning this great loss.
May his soul rest in eternal peace. His legacy of service and dedication to the people will always be remembered.

The DSWD XII - AVRC was filled with warmth, laughter, and meaningful connections as we celebrated a month-long Hearts Month with our trainees.
The celebration brought moments of joy, creativity, and self-expression. It allowed everyone to share their talents and the spirit of love and inclusivity. Through engaging experiences, our trainees showcased their confidence, creativity, and vibrant energy.
The event also emphasized the importance of health and well-being. It reminded everyone that love goes beyond emotions; it also means caring for oneself and others.
More than just a celebration, this Hearts Month was a beautiful reminder that love, acceptance, and happiness flourish in a community where everyone is valued.

Protective Services Division of DSWD XII Holds 1st Quarter CY 2026 Meeting
The Protective Services Division (PSD) of DSWD XII successfully conducted its 1st Quarter Meeting for Calendar Year 2026 on January 8, 2026.
Headed by Nanig C. Sanoy, SWO V / PSD Chief, the division oversees the CRCFs—namely RSCC, RRCY, HFGW, and AVRC—as well as Sectoral Programs (Community-Based, Social Pension, and Supplementary Feeding Program) and the Crisis Intervention Section.
The meeting was attended by program heads who presented their respective accomplishments for CY 2025.
Discussions also focused on areas for improvement and proposed strategies to further enhance program implementation in 2026, with the goal of delivering more effective and responsive services for the benefit of clients.

DSWD FO XII–CRCF, masayang sinimulan ang Bagong Taon
Koronadal City — Nagsagawa ng masayang New Year celebration ang Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XII – CRCF sa The Farm Hill, Koronadal City bilang pagsalubong sa bagong taon at pagpapalakas ng samahan sa mga residente ng iba’t ibang institusyon.
Ang nasabing aktibidad ay dinaluhan ni ARDO Bonifacio V. Selma Jr., kasama ang mga kawani ng DSWD FO XII, na nagbigay-suporta at inspirasyon sa mga benepisyaryo.
Layunin ng pagdiriwang na maipadama ang pagmamahal, pagkalinga, at malasakit ng pamahalaan sa mga residente ng Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY), Home for Girls and Women (HFGW), Reception and Study Center for Children (RSCC), at Area Vocational Rehabilitation Center (AVRC).
Naging makulay ang selebrasyon sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang parlor games, magical show, at pamimigay ng mga regalo at papremyo na labis na ikinatuwa ng lahat ng residente. Ang aktibidad ay nagsilbing paraan upang mapalakas ang kanilang morale at magbigay ng masayang alaala sa pagsisimula ng bagong taon.
Patuloy ang DSWD FO XII sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang naglalayong itaguyod ang kapakanan at kabutihan ng mga nasa pangangalaga ng ahensya.
