***FDA Advisory No.2026-0405 || PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISORY ON US-FDA ANNOUNCEMENT ON EXTENSIVELY DRUG-RESISTANT SALMONELLA IN MORINGA POWDER***

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hereby informs the public that the United States Food and Drug Administration (US‑FDA), in coordination with their Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local authorities, is investigating an outbreak of Salmonella Newport Infections linked to ROSABELLA Moringa Dietary Supplement distributed by Ambrosia Brands LLC.

The US‑FDA advises that certain lots of this dietary supplement, sold in white plastic bottles with a green label and expiration dates in 2027 has ongoing recall due to possible contamination with Salmonella1.

In accordance with Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 116, please be advised that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will observe a half-day work schedule on Wednesday, 01 April 2026, to allow employees to travel to their respective provinces in observance of the Holy Week.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

Cashier Cut-off: Please note that the Cashier will observe an earlier cut-off at 11:00 AM to facilitate the midday accounting and reporting requirements.

Online Services: Clients are encouraged to utilize the FDA’s online portals for applications and electronic submissions. Payments may also be made through LinkBiz and BancNet as alternative payment channels.

Resumption of Work: Regular office hours will resume on Monday, 06 April 2026.

***FDA Advisory No.2025-0856-A || Lifting the Advisory of the Registered Food Product under FDA Advisory No. 2025 – 0856 with Subject “Public Health Warning Against the Purchase and Consumption of the Unregistered Food Product ‘JUNGLE JUICE Refreshing Orange Flavored Drink”***

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) informs the public that the food product JUNGLE JUICE Refreshing Orange Flavored Drink has been registered by the Market Authorization Holder (MAH) Traditional Food Corporation in accordance to existing FDA rules and regulations.

Accordingly, the list released in FDA Advisory No. 2025 – 0856 is hereby updated to remove the aforementioned food product.

***FDA Advisory No.2026-0360 || AVAILABILITY OF THE FEATURE FOR THE FILING OF RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR LICENSE TO OPERATE (LTO) OF PEST CONTROL OPERATORS (PCO) THROUGH THE FDA ESERVICES PORTAL SYSTEM***

In line with the implementation of FDA Circular No. 2022-010, entitled, “Implementing Guidelines of Department of Health (DOH) Administrative Order No. 2019-0010 on the Issuance of License to Operate (LTO) as Household/Urban Pest Control Operators (PCO), and for Other Purposes” and the completion of system upgrading, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) hereby informs all Pest Control Operator (PCO) establishments that applications for the renewal of their licenses are now accepted through the FDA eServices Portal System (https://eservices.fda.gov.ph/).

***Announcement || Temporary Email Delivery Issues Due to Cloud Email Hosting Service Migration from Microsoft Office 365 to Google Workspace and Network Stabilization.***

The Food and Drug Administration wishes to inform the public and its stakeholders that the Agency is currently experiencing intermittent technical issues affecting email delivery, including instances of emails bouncing back to senders.

These issues are attributable to the ongoing transition of the FDA to the Google Workspace email platform, coupled with temporary instability in the internet connection at the FDA’s new workspace. As a result, some official FDA email accounts may be unable to consistently receive incoming messages from 26 February 2026 until 02 March 2026 8:00 AM.
