InThisPhoto | OCt. 29-31, 2025 The Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC) XII and the Provincial Agricultural and Fishery Council (PAFC), led by their respective Chairpersons, have joined forces to monitor the DA-Funded projects in South Cotabato!
Our focus is on ensuring that investments in mechanization, post-harvest handling, and logistics directly translate to higher incomes and better food quality for our local communities.
South Cotabato Project Monitoring Highlights:
*Corn Shellers - Brgy. Lake Siloton & Brgy. Lamcade, Lake Sebu; Brgy. Lemsnolon, T'boli. Fast-tracks corn harvesting, dramatically reducing labor time and minimizing post-harvest losses.
*Mechanical Dryer - Brgy. Poblacion, Lake Sebu.
*Slaughter House - Brgy. Poblacion, Lake Sebu.
*4-Wheel Drive Tractor - Brgy. Aflek, T'boli. Improves farming efficiency and scale through faster, more effective land preparation.
*10-Wheeler Truck - Brgy. Centrala, Surallah & Brgy. Rizal 3, Banga. Boosts logistics capability, enabling farmers' cooperatives to efficiently haul produce to markets and major processing centers.
The hands-on monitoring by the RAFC and PAFC leadership ensures that these valuable projects are properly utilized, well-maintained, and serving the intended beneficiaries. This synergy between the regional and provincial councils is key to achieving a modern, industrialized, and profitable agriculture sector in South Cotabato.
