YAKAP Caravan Joins the DepEd Brigada Eskwela Regional Kick-Off!

June 2, 2026 – In support of the spirit of Brigada Eskwela and strengthened inter-agency collaboration, LHIO Koronadal successfully conducted a YAKAP Caravan during the DepEd Brigada Eskwela Regional Kick-Off Activity held at the School Gymnasium of Marbel 4 Elementary School, bringing essential healthcare, PhilHealth membership, and government services closer to the community.

The activity gathered various government agencies, stakeholders, teachers, parents, and community members in a shared commitment to service and collaboration. The City Health Office Koronadal participated as a YAKAP partner in delivering healthcare-related assistance, while Dr. Sandig Clinic joined as a GAMOT provider, helping strengthen access to healthcare support. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) also took part in the activity, making the caravan a convergence of accessible government services.

During the caravan, PhilHealth membership services such as membership registration, member record updating, PIN verification, PhilHealth ID assistance, and membership inquiries were made available to attendees. Participants were likewise assisted in YAKAP assignment, provided healthcare navigation support, and oriented on Universal Health Care (UHC) and PhilHealth programs and benefits.

More than a service activity, the caravan reflected the true spirit of bayanihanβ€”bringing agencies and communities together to make healthcare and government services more accessible as schools prepare for another academic year.
