Matagumpay na naisagawa ang South Cotabato CATCH-UP Operation sa Purok Gumamela, Barangay Buto, Tampakan sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng iba’t ibang tanggapan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan at mga partner agencies. Layunin ng aktibidad na maihatid ang mga pangunahing serbisyo ng pamahalaan at mapalakas ang ugnayan ng mga ahensya sa komunidad.

Matagumpay ding nakibahagi ang Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) sa aktibidad sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng impormasyon tungkol sa kanilang mga programa at serbisyong panlipunan. Namahagi rin ng assistive devices para sa mga persons with disabilities (PWDs) at nagbigay ng choco milk sa mga miyembro ng komunidad bilang bahagi ng outreach at suporta sa mga benepisyaryo.

The Provincial Convergence Advisory Council (PCAC) held its 2nd Quarterly Meeting at the PDC Hall, City of Koronadal. The meeting served as a platform for the presentation of accomplishments and updates on the implementation of key social protection and development programs, including the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), Supplemental Feeding Program, Disaster Response Management initiatives, Social Pension Program, KALAHI-CIDSS, TARA BASA Program, 4Ps, as well as the accomplishments of partner agencies.

The discussion also provided an avenue to raise field-level issues and concerns, enabling the formulation of more responsive and tailored interventions to strengthen convergence efforts toward household self-sufficiency. Furthermore, the Council reaffirmed its commitment to partnership and collaboration, with partners aligning their projects, sharing resources, and ensuring the avoidance of duplication of services for a more efficient, coordinated, and targeted delivery of interventions.

Nagsagawa ng pamamahagi ng shelter kit assistance ang Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (OPSWDO), sa pamamagitan ng Disaster Response Team nito, para sa dalawampu’t tatlong (23) pamilyang residente ng Purok Santos, Brgy. Zone III, Lungsod ng Koronadal na apektado ng nakatakdang demolisyon ng kanilang mga tahanan. Layunin ng aktibidad na makapagbigay ng agarang tulong at suporta upang matugunan ang kanilang pansamantalang pangangailangan sa pabahay habang sila ay naghahanda para sa relokasyon at pagbangon mula sa kanilang kasalukuyang kalagayan.

Kabuuang halaga na β‚±80,500.00 ng mga materyales para sa pagkukumpuni at pagtatayo ng pansamantalang masisilungan ang ipinamahagi sa mga benepisyaryong pamilya. Ang inisyatibong ito ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagtugon ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa mga sektor na nangangailangan ng agarang ayuda, kasabay ng pagsusulong ng ligtas, makatao, at responsableng serbisyong panlipunan para sa mga mamamayan ng South Cotabato.

As part of the Deradicalization and Reintegration Program, the 12th Batch of Friends Rescued (FRs) and Former Violent Extremists (FVEs) participated in a lecture on Executive Order No. 70 and the Anti-Terrorism Act at the Kapayapaang Angat Center, Brgy. Tinungcop, Tantangan, South Cotabato. Facilitated by Atty. Leah Orencio, the session provided participants with a deeper understanding of the government’s peacebuilding initiatives, the legal framework for addressing terrorism and violent extremism, and the significance of promoting peace, security, and the rule of law. The activity served to reinforce their commitment to positive change and support their successful reintegration into their families and communities.

The Provincial Government of South Cotabato, through the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer (OPSWDO), conducted the release of the 1st quarter honorarium for Child Development Workers (CDWs) from June 1-3, 2026. The distribution took place under the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program. This initiative gives emphasis to the government’s dedication to supporting CDWs, who play a pivotal role in early childhood education and development. The timely disbursement of these honorariums ensures that CDWs are fairly compensated for their essential contributions in delivering vital services and helping to foster early development of children.

Colacion facilitated a lecture on Nutrition for the 12th Batch of Friends Rescued (FRs) and Former Violent Extremists (FVEs) undergoing the Deradicalization and Reintegration Program at the Kapayapaang Angat Center, Brgy. Tinungcop, Tantangan, South Cotabato. The activity enhanced participants’ understanding of proper nutrition, balanced diets, and healthy lifestyle practices, emphasizing the role of good health in improving quality of life, productivity, and overall well-being.

A lecture on Communication and Conflict Resolution was conducted by Ms. Joanna Faciolan, RPm, for the 12th Batch of Friends Rescued (FRs) and Former Violent Extremists (FVEs) undergoing the Deradicalization and Reintegration Program at the Kapayapaang Angat Center, Brgy. Tinungcop, Tantangan, South Cotabato. The session focused on strengthening participants’ communication skills, promoting healthy interpersonal relationships, and equipping them with effective conflict management strategies to support their personal growth, social reintegration, and active participation in building peaceful and resilient communities.
