Atty. Roque A. Marcos Memorial School successfully held its much-awaited HRPTA and SPTA Induction Ceremony 2026 yesterday, September 19, 2026, with the theme of strengthening partnership between home and school. The event gathered parents, teachers, school leaders, and stakeholders in a meaningful celebration of unity, commitment, and shared responsibility for the learners.
The program formally opened with warm and inspiring Opening Remarks from Ma'am Elvie R. Tiozon, ARAMMS Teacher Association President and Araling Panlipunan Department Head, who emphasized the vital role of parents as partners in education. This was followed by the most awaited part of the program, the Induction Proper. Dr. Glenda A. Jo, La Paz 1 Public Schools District Supervisor, delivered an inspiring message and led the induction of the Grade 7 and Grade 8 Homeroom PTA officers. Subsequently, Mr. Michael Y. Rapada, School Governing Council President, gave his message and inducted the Grade 9 and Grade 10 HRPTA officers, while Hon. SB Member Buboy Acompaรฑado, Committee Chair on Education, delivered his message and led the induction of the Grade 11 and Grade 12 HRPTA officers. The highlight of the induction was the Message and Induction of the newly elected School Parent-Teacher Association Officers, gracefully led by Hon. Mayor Joel C. Cinco, who expressed his full support for the school's programs and projects.
To promote transparency and accountability, Ma'am Liezel C. Suyom, outgoing SPTA Treasurer, presented a clear Statement of Transparency, detailing the transactions, projects, and utilization of funds from the previous school year. Her report reflected the honest and dedicated service of the former SPTA. The first part of the program was formally concluded with heartfelt Words of Gratitude from Dr. Sherlita C. Andrade, Secondary School Principal IV, who thanked all parents and stakeholders for their continuous support and trust in ARAMMS.
The celebration continued, which was filled with joy, laughter, and camaraderie. Fun games were facilitated, with exciting prizes generously sponsored by our Master Teachers, namely Ma'am Helen E. Mitra, Science Department Head, Ma'am Imelda E. Benusa, Mathematics Department Head, and Ma'am Rowena T. Abad, ESP Department Head. Adding cultural color and entertainment to the event with the elegant Kuratsa dance presentation from each grade level, where Grade 11 Diamond was hailed as the Kuratsa King and Queen, while the representatives from Grade 7 Bonifacio and Grade 7 Del Pilar also earned their places, with performances that were warmly applauded by everyone.
Indeed, the event was not just a ceremony but a testament to the strong bond of the ARAMMS community. We extend our sincerest thanks to all our guests, organizers, teachers, parents, HRPTA and SPTA officers, and to our active SSLG officers who helped in the preparation and documentation of the program. Together, we continue to build a school where parents, teachers, and learners work hand in hand for a better future.
