To promote digital literacy in the region, the Agricultural Training Institute – Cordillera Administrative Region (ATI-RTC CAR) conducted the Digital Farmers Program (DFP) for Livestock Enterprise and Economic Development (LEED) beneficiaries on August 18–20, 2026.

Center Director Charlie C. Sagudan opened the activity with an encouraging message, emphasizing the importance of adaptability and a continuous drive to learn amid the growing digitalization of agricultural supply chains, processes, and marketing.

Discussions include Accessing Internet and Internet Safety Basics; Mobile Photography; QR Code; Agri-Apps and Knowledge Sources; and Introduction to e-Commerce Platforms and Digital Transactions.

To put these concepts into practice, participants completed hands-on workshops focused on capturing high-quality mobile photos and designing promotional social media materials for their products.

A total of 30 livestock raisers from the provinces of Benguet and Ifugao successfully completed the program, equipping them with practical digital tools to promote their farm enterprises.//

Empowering local farmers through strategic planning and collaboration! Eleven (11) Farmers' Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) from Hungduan, Ifugao successfully completed the three-day Training-Writeshop on Farm Cluster Development Plan (CDP) Preparation for Rice Clusters held on August 12–14, 2026.

With practical strategies and data-driven planning, FCAs of Hungduan, Ifugao crafted tailored Cluster Development Plans—setting a solid foundation for sustainable growth, improved productivity, and stronger agricultural unity.

ATI-Cordillera wishes to express its appreciation to the DA-RFO-CAR (ACCED) facilitators—Ms. Emily Grace B. Punno, Ms. Gheremy T. Batang-e, and Mr. Anthony C. Saleo-an—and the Office of the Municipal Agriculturist of Hungduan, Ifugao, whose dedicated efforts ensured the success of this initiative.
