A Meaningful Send-Off and Turn-Over Ceremony

Quillat Elementary School gathered early this morning, September 18, 2026, for a heartfelt Send-Off and Turn-Over Ceremony honoring our outgoing School Head, Ma’am Dina T. San Miguel, and welcoming a new chapter of leadership for our school.

The ceremony was filled with heartfelt messages, performances, tokens of appreciation, and meaningful moments that celebrated Ma’am Dina’s leadership, dedication, and the lasting bond she has built with the Quillat ES family. The symbolic turn-over of school documents, properties, and the school key marked the formal transition of responsibility and continuity of service.

We extend our warmest thank you and appreciation to Ma’am Dina for her years of guidance, support, and dedicated service to our learners, teachers, parents, and community. Your contributions and memories will always remain a cherished part of the Quillat Elementary School story. ❤️

We also warmly welcome our incoming School Head, Sir Delfin B. Blando, Principal II, as he begins his journey with the Quillat ES family. May this new chapter bring meaningful partnerships, continued growth, and many more milestones for our school.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to the PTA Officers, BLGU Quillat, LGU Langiden/Municipal Mayor Hon. Secel Palecpec, teachers, learners, parents, and all our partners who made this celebration meaningful and memorable.

Here’s to honoring the past, embracing the present, and welcoming new beginnings. ❤️

A Lasting Legacy of Care, Leadership, and Service

One of the major accomplishments of our School Head, Ma’am Dina T. San Miguel, before her transition to her new station is the completion of the repair and improvement of our three school buildings at Quillat Elementary School.

These important improvements were DepEd-funded and implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), providing our learners and teachers with safer, more conducive, and improved learning spaces.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Schools Division Office of Abra officials, headed by Sir Amador D. Garcia, Sr., PhD, CESO V, for their support and commitment toward the improvement of our school facilities.

Our sincere gratitude also goes to Cong. JB Bernos and Congw. Menchie Bernos for their support and efforts toward initiatives that contribute to the improvement of our school and welfare of our learners.

More than just physical improvements, these repairs stand as a meaningful part of Ma’am Dina T. San Miguel's major accomplishments and lasting legacy at Quillat Elementary School. Her dedication to improving our school and providing a better environment for our learners will always be remembered and cherished.

Thank you, Ma’am Dina, for your dedicated leadership and for leaving Quillat ES better, safer, and stronger. Your legacy will continue to serve generations of learners.

Quillat Elementary School — Happy to Serve.
