Lanuza Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN-DIEL,DSC, Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT JULIUS DARYL M BULATAO, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO3 Tessie C Namalata, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, successfully conducted the Bumbero sa Paaralan program at Agsam Integrated School, Brgy. Agsam, Lanuza, Surigao Del Sur.

The activity aimed to educate students on basic fire safety awareness, fire prevention measures, and the proper actions to take during fire emergencies. Through this initiative, the Bureau of Fire Protection continues to strengthen community preparedness and promote a culture of safety among the youth. 🔥🚒

Lanuza Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN-DIEL,DSC, Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT JULIUS DARYL M BULATAO, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO3 Tessie C Namalata, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, were deployed at the Lanuza Public Terminal as Standby Medics.

The deployment aims to provide immediate medical assistance and emergency response to commuters, drivers, passengers, and other members of the public who may require medical attention. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Bureau of Fire Protection to ensure public safety, preparedness, and timely response, especially in areas with high public activity.

Through continuous presence and readiness, Lanuza Fire Station remains committed to serving and protecting the community whenever and wherever assistance is needed.

Lanuza Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN-DIEL,DSC, Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT JULIUS DARYL M BULATAO, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO3 Tessie C Namalata, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a Fire Safety On Demand activity at Barangay Agsam, Lanuza, Surigao del Sur.

The activity aimed to bring fire safety information and awareness directly to the community, providing residents with practical knowledge on fire prevention, early response, and the importance of maintaining a safe and prepared household. Through direct engagement with the residents, the personnel addressed common fire hazards and encouraged everyone to take an active role in preventing fires within their homes and community.

Furthermore, Lanuza Fire Station personnel promoted the Project S.P.A.R.K. App, encouraging residents to utilize the platform as an accessible tool for fire safety information, emergency awareness, and community preparedness. The promotion aims to strengthen public engagement by making fire safety resources more accessible and encouraging residents to stay informed, prepared, and proactive in preventing fire incidents.

Zone III, Lanuza, Surigao Del Sur.
The activity was carried out as part of the station’s commitment to provide immediate assistance to the community, particularly in addressing the residents’ basic water needs specially this drowth season. Through the utilization of available resources and firefighting equipment, Lanuza Fire Station demonstrated its readiness to extend support beyond fire suppression and prevention.
The water rationing activity strengthened the partnership between the Fire Station and the community, while promoting public trust, cooperation, and the spirit of Bayanihan. It also highlighted the BFP’s dedication to serving the public and responding to community needs, especially during situations where access to water is limited. Under the leadership of FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN-DIEL,DSC, Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT JULIUS DARYL M BULATAO, Provincial Fire Marshal, SFO3 Tessie C Namalata, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, attended the 4th Quarter Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) Meeting held at the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Session Hall, Lanuza, Surigao del Sur, together with concerned government agencies and stakeholders.

The meeting provided an avenue to discuss peace and order concerns, strengthen inter-agency coordination, and formulate appropriate measures toward a safe, peaceful, and secure community.

Meanwhile, SFO3 Tessie C Namalata introduced and promoted the Project S.P.A.R.K. App, highlighting its importance in strengthening public awareness, accessibility, and coordination in support of fire safety and emergency preparedness.

Lanuza Fire Station personnel, under the leadership of FCSUPT HONEE FRITZ N ABANGAN-DIEL,DSC, Regional Director, and the supervision of FSUPT JULIUS DARYL M BULATAO, Provincial Fire Marshal, spearheaded by SFO3 Tessie C Namalata, OIC-Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted promotion of project S.P.A.R.K app within the community.

The activity aimed to increase public awareness of the application and encourage community members to utilize its features as an additional means of accessing fire safety information, reporting fire-related incidents, and strengthening communication between the public and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Through direct engagement and information dissemination, personnel explained the importance of being informed, vigilant, and prepared for fire and other emergencies. The initiative also highlighted the role of technology in improving public access to emergency-related services and supporting faster coordination and response.

Project S.P.A.R.K. serves as an avenue for promoting community participation, fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and public safety awareness. The activity was conducted in support of the Obligasyon sa Bayan, Ligtas na Pamayanan (OLP) through the Kaagapay at Handang Pamayanan Program, which strengthens the preparedness and resilience of business establishments against fires, natural disasters, and other emergencies. It also provides an opportunity for business owners, employees, and responders to identify potential hazards, discuss appropriate preventive measures, establish clear emergency procedures, and define the roles and responsibilities of personnel during an incident.
