𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝! 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓!

On July 08, 2025, we officially launched our Library Orientation Program at the College Library in the Admin Building with the theme "Awareness of the Library’s Role and Services." Our first-year and transfer students from 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐂𝐨𝐇𝐓𝐌) got off to a great start as they explored the many resources and services available at the LLCC Library.

We discussed key topics such as the library’s hours of operation, library instruction, reference and information services, circulation and internet services, and basic library procedures. Students were introduced to helpful tools like computers, and they also learned how to borrow and reserve books, access e-journals and e-books, and use the card catalog for research. We also tackled library rules, fines and penalties, and faculty guidelines.

✨ The highlight of the orientation was the Library Tour, where each student was assisted by the library staff and shown around the different sections of the library. They were taught how to properly locate materials and follow the borrowing process step by step.

The session ended with a quick review of the rules and reminders to help students make the most of what the library has to offer.
