Message of Chief, PNP during the Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony

Public safety also supports the country’s tourism industry. The Philippines ranked 57th out of 110 economies in the 2026 World Economic Forum Travel and Tourism Development Index. As tourism grows, dapat maramdaman ng ating mga kababayan at mga bisita na ligtas silang bumiyahe at mamasyal sa ating bansa. That responsibility is particularly important this week. Around 3,000 police personnel are deployed for the Maskara Festival 2026 in Bacolod City. I expect our personnel to be visible, alert, disciplined, and professional. Our presence must reassure the public, and our response must be timely. To all commanders and personnel, know your areas, coordinate with your partners, and anticipate problems before they become incidents. Do your job, and do it right. Let us continue building a Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman!”
